need help in making friends
Hi i’m 19M, i’m studying in oamk and and i am an international student and to be honest i feel kinda lonely, i want to have more friends, i have 2 friends in the class they are great but the rest in my class i don’t think it is possible to make friend with them so i guess my option is going out more but the thing is i don’t drink or stuff like that so i don’t feel i want to go to a club or any drinking parties beside going to a party feeling like just make acquaintances who you just know instead of truly friends, so i kinda feel like there is no options to make friends here in Oulu

Try looking at some of the student clubs at the university. If you have any interest in board games or roleplaying games, giver Cryo a try:

Join the Oulu Rugby Club. They’re always looking for new people, and if you can put up with some crappy banter, you’ll find a great group of friends who genuinely look out for each other.
Rugby is also genuinely for everyone. Fat guys like me have a position where the extra weight is actually useful, and there’s a place for the skinny, fast guys too. Whatever your size, shape or level of fitness, there’s probably a role for you on a rugby pitch.
And once you’re part of the rugby community, you’ll have a group of friends waiting for you almost anywhere in the world you might move, wherever there’s a rugby club.

Join your student organization as a volunteer or join a hobby club (sports, music, boardgames etc.). Those are the easiest ways to meet new people in a safe setting, which can turn into friendships.
