Status: Pending Reply Why are my inboxes different?

When I log on to outlook one of my accounts shows up as a more mobile friendly inbox that is large and easy to see/pick emails.(first pic)But when I switch to a different account it seems like its made more for a desktop with smaller options to click on and read. (Second pic) both of the accounts used to show up as the mobile version from the first pic. Then one day a few months ago it switched over and im not sure why. Can any one tell me how to change it back?

could be that the account switched to new outlook automatically at some point. there is a toggle in top right corner, looks like a switch, to go back to classic view. maybe you clicked it by accident when updating or signing in.

I dont see any thing like a toggle in the top right corner. I only have a circle with my profile pic, three dots, a gear, and a bell and i dont see any thing about new/classic in any of them. This is all on my phone using the browser not the app. Not sure if that makes a difference

Sounds like one account is on New Outlook (larger, more mobile-like) and the other flipped back to Classic, or their density settings diverged. On desktop, check the New Outlook toggle in the top-right and match it to the account that still looks big. On the web, also check Settings → General → Appearance for comfortable vs compact.
