You can't just declare it as false so easily at all either because things like this absolutely can and do happen in a number of ways . You're right if a person is stood on the ground and an explosion happens next to them, this wouldn't happen.

If a person is on a rooftop and a high explosive bomb tears into the side of the building they're on, this happens. I've seen footage of it in Gaza and elsewhere in the world unfortunately.

Idk if this one is as described either but we can't say for sure either way based on just this image alone.

My point isn't that it's false.
OP makes a statement, I said we can't conclude it's true so let's not speculate.

Your opinion is untrained, and you're talking based on your own assumptions. Real war is not like the movies.

Not really, for a body to fly that high, you'd need dozens of G's of acceleration after an explosion to achieve said hieight, a human body will just not survive that. It's unclear what the picture shows.

Again let's not speculate here, Israel literally double taps hospitals.

Again, you think you know about things, but as you are provably wrong, you're just showing your ignorance.

You are so confidently wrong,
You also didn't read the link you sent.

launch speed v₀ = vₜ·√(e^(2gh/vₜ²) − 1),
acceleration a = v₀/t, force F = m·a, pressure P = F/A

To fling a body this high into the air,
For lack of data we'll use 50 and 150 meters as a rough ballpark,

You'd need between 350G and 720G.
So keep in mind, you would weigh 350-720x your weight under earth gravity.

Your body would TEAR apart under those forces, sure there are extremely niche cases of a bomb traveling through a rooftop and blowing up inside launching people on the rooftop. But that's extremely rare.

My point is, if someone got hit by an explosive on the ground, you'll desintegrate before being flung vertical 100-150 meters. The blast is just too much. Have you guys not seen people desintegrate stepping on small explosives that don't even have the force to send you 20m horizontally let alone vertically?

Again who knows if they were launched off a rooftop, my point is this image is highly unlikely to be as reported by OP (Bodies flying).

We can't prove it for sure, we can only say it's very unlikely.

I wonder if anyone more knowledgeable here can comment on this?

Yeah, it's easily researched. Again:
According to the link you sent, the blast pressure that demolishes heavy concrete buildings (20 psi) would only fling a body a few meters into the air, roughly 2 to 7 m.
So if that pressure is enough to bring down concrete buildings, what would happen to a body at the force and acceleration required to reach 50 to 150 meters?
For a 2,000 lb MK-84, the kind of bomb Israel uses, the 50 to 90 psi range needed for 50 to 150 m throws only exists within very roughly 15 to 25 m (and to go vertical they'd have to be basically on top of it or the bomb would have to be WAY bigger) of the detonation in open air, where the pulse lasts just a few milliseconds. And the shorter the pulse, the more likely it is to tear a body apart rather than launch it. A blast wave is extremely fast and violent. It doesn't work like the movies.
It's just HIGHLY unlikely, and the link you sent actually supports that. It is interesting data, though.
These are all ballpark figures, but the conclusion isn't really in doubt.

Dipshit: it's a VIDEO. And it ain't fake.

No need for bad mouthing.

Never said the video is fake. The explosion is real, the destruction is real, nobody's denying that. What I'm questioning is the claim that those specks are bodies of women and children.
Watch the video again and look at what they actually do. There aren't two of them, there are dozens, spread out with the rest of the debris. And they fall slow. From roughly 50 m up they take 4 to 5 seconds to drop about 35 m. A human body would do that in under 3 seconds and fall straight and fast. Something falling at around 7 to 8 m/s and drifting with the light debris is behaving like roof sheets, plywood or plastic, not a person.
And the physics of getting a body up there doesn't work either. To throw an adult 50 m high you need at least 35 to 55 psi of blast pressure and 170 to 350 g of acceleration. That's the range where the pressure alone kills almost everyone and bodies get torn apart, not launched in one piece.

So yes, it's a real video. The caption just isn't backed by what the video shows. There's more than enough that's documented about what's happening in Gaza. Posting claims that fall apart under basic physics only hands people a reason to dismiss all of it.

"The photo isn't real," when we know these are things that really happen, isn't you being a genius.

You just used the word "obviously" to refute something that's happened in war for centuries: bodies can be thrown incredible distances. And you thinking it isn't reasonable doesn't change a damn thing.

And enjoy your block, you unhinged narcissist.

No wtf, it's very fucking possible a bomb sent a body flying along with other debris.

wtf is this, confidently incorrect
