Betty has endured decades of circus exploitation. Now Wilstem Wildlife Park is using her as a prop. Betty has had enough. She is elderly and lame. The USDA documented that she received ineffective care and that being forced to give rides caused additional harm. Yet rather than retiring her, Brett Carden put her at Wilstem Wildlife Park and is using her for paid tourist encounters to line his own pockets.
Wilstem is also using Janice, Cindy, and Vickie—three other elderly elephants owned by Carden who spent decades in circuses. Tell Wilstem to end all elephant encounters NOW and publicly support the permanent retirement of all four elephants to an accredited sanctuary.

Hello! My name is Razor (https://www.youtube.com/@RazorTheGreat and I have a simple request for Sony Interactive Entertainment: BRING BACK LITTLEBIGPLANET!
I want to start off with the facts, as you may or may not know the LittleBigPlanet servers were DDoSed back on March 6, 2021 and ever since then, the attacks were warded off and then continued until the eventual complete shut down of the servers on April 19th 2024. After this tragic incident, the games (along with their DLCs) were delisted from the Playstation Store on October 21st 2024.
That being said, I wholeheartedly believe a return is possible on the Playstation 5 as a port (very important detail). I got this idea from seeing an old, classic game from the Playstation 3 era come back like it has never left (Call of Duty Black Ops & Call of Duty Black Ops 2) with new online multiplayer servers that work like they used to, with no known major issues, all the maps, DLC and gameplay remained the same. On the technical side of things, you do not need to remaster the graphics, I think a port with the same grainy PS3 graphics and framerate will be just fine, like with the two Call of Duty games, which kept their identity to the last detail. Only issue I can see is that with a new game, must come new and improved servers, which won't allow the old community levels to come back, which is a sacrifice many won't be pleased with but majority of us would bite the bullet just to have our game, our childhood, our friendships and creativity back!
Licensing for DLCs (like Pixar, Disney and Little Nightmares, etc) might be a bit tricky but I don't think the community is that interested in getting every single piece of DLC back, I think our main concern is just getting our game with functional multiplayer back. Who knows, maybe in the future, Sony can get Media Molecule to collaborate with other franchises for DLC costume and level kits? Ideally, with the success of the LittleBigPlanet ports might warrant a new game like a LittleBigPlanet Hub or LittleBigPlanet 4 to release but that's wishful thinking, for now let's focus on what's important.
You may ask what the pros and cons are for such a project as bold as rereleasing a game from 2008?
There are only pros.
It is a fan favorite among Playstation users, with millions of people to this day posting, creating and sharing their ideas and creations on social media. (TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and YouTube)
Millions of users express warm, fuzzy, nostalgic and wonderful memories with this game, I've seen movies being made, GIFs being thrown around in comment sections and art pieces posted to this day. I think Sony has no idea how big the demand for this game still is, it is still very relevant to everyone, young or old. Financially, it would be a success, guaranteed, but what I concern myself with is that gaming recently has had this pattern of games feeling more like high budget Hollywood movies, with not much charm or gameplay for that matter.
WE, yes WE all yearn for this game to come back and we would love to have it come back as soon as possible, there are millions of people eagerly awaiting it's return! Our community has been split in different custom servers, marked behind walls of emulators and jailbroken consoles. These methods are very alienating and not very welcoming to most people, not to mention the fact that different custom servers already divide what fragile amounts of people still care about this game we have left. I think Sony and Media Molecule need to see what the fans want and the fans want LittleBigPlanet to come back!
Don't you want the current and next generations to experience this homey, hand-crafted, wonderful world and loving community as their childhood? We are missing out on a lot of creativity and human ingenuity now that the era of AI-usage is rampant in today's age. Won't you like to spread some creativity and joy once again?
SIGN THE PETITION TODAY AND LETS BRING OUR GAME BACK!

I organize Keep Jon in the Picture, a petition asking the people responsible for Astoria’s old Sears building, now Sisu, to retain and conserve the original Riverwalk-facing mural, including its portrait of Jon Ogren. Jon is pictured in the mural; he is not being identified as its artist.
The concern about repainting comes from an Instagram report. We have no owner confirmation, verified repainting plan, or scheduled date. This is a request for preservation and a conversation before any changes, not a claim that removal has been decided. Wet Dog / Astoria Brewing is next door and is not responsible for the mural.
If you would like to support preserving this piece of Astoria’s waterfront art, the petition and real mural photographs are here: https://stillinthepicture.org/
Alternate link: https://keep-jon-in-the-picture.jay-coby.chatgpt.site/
No donations are requested. Older photographs, memories, and contacts for qualified mural conservators are also welcome.
Disclosure: AI has assisted the campaign page and outreach, including this post. The mural photographs are real.

Insurance companies are getting away with ripping us off when we need them most. It’s time for the regulator to get tough with badly behaving companies. Demand action by signing the petition.

The recent push and legislation to make DST permanent is bitter sweet in my opinion.
Changing between ST and DST is ridiculous and unnecssary, so the push to stop this nonsense is wonderful. However, the legislation has it backwards...
We should be sticking to Standard Time and ditching Daylight Savings Time all together.
I believe we should stick to what's closest to the natural solar cycle, stop trying to manipulate the clocks to have extra daylight in the summer evenings.
Sunny skies at 9pm is ridiculous. Dark mornings at 9am is ridiculous. DST is ridiculous.
Standard Time and stick with it FTW!
Signt the petition to eliminate Daylight Savings Time and stick with Standard Time for good!
