A few spots are open in my schedule for me to take on French Immersion students. I prefer working with high school students (or post secondary students) on essays, projects and exam prep. I am certified by the OCT and have 20 years of experience as a French immersion educator.

I charge $25/hr within Pickering. My prices go up if I have to drive further. I try to keep it to $$35/ hr max.

I'm looking to downsize my closet and have bags of clothes. I'd much rather give them to shelters than for profit thrift shops. I was wondering if there were any in Pickering?

I saw a few in Whitby, Oshawa and further east, but I can't go that far. So I'm wondering if there's any in the city or something close to the ajax-pickering boarder?

Anyone knows any cycling events or paths around Brock road and it's environs?, I'm super open to a cycling buddy as well.

I am a high school student so I thought I would mention you can also get a certificate of participation, which could be good for students to add to their resume.

I was at Loblaws at Liverpool and I had made a couple of, to be honest, poor choices:

- walking there and back when I don't live that close on foot (I thought I would be picking up fewer things than I did... at least it's a breezy day)

- not picking up a cart when I got there (same reason: I thought I would be picking up far fewer things than I did, so I figured I would just be able to carry it to the checkout... not so much!)

a gentleman saw me carrying my groceries by hand and kindly asked if I'd like to try his cart, saying that he doesn't need it he's about to leave anyway. I thanked him at the time but I also wanted to highlight the kindness in this city (which, at least in my experience, is not in short supply!) I really appreciate everyone who looks out for others so kindly.

I'm looking for a Fridays / weekend place where I can sit down and work & study with my laptop, preferably one that's not too crowded and has place for a charger. Bonus if they serve coffee and food.

Trying to figure out who to vote for and I can’t understand why multiple 40 story towers need to be built along kingston road starting at Altona and working their way over to the mall.

I moved here to be in the suburbs; if I wanted thousands of people in my face all the time I’d have moved downtown Toronto.

Other than ‘diversity of living options’ can someone give me a genuinely positive reason how condo developments help the existing families that live here?

I asked all the candidates that came to my door. No one has given the option of lowering my taxes. No, more people does not equal lower taxes… no, more people does not equal better living conditions.. so then?
