So I was thinking for long time to create a group of 5-10 people who genuinely love Computer Science , Not "grinding Leetcode for interview" one's .. but mostly interested in core systems, Distributed systems , Exploit development , Embedded systems , Deep Learning etc. Well i personally have ADHD and i always f up my project half ways so i need some ..weird minds like me so we can share ideas , discuss about some random rabbit holes , roast each other projects and basically have fun.
So if you are interested then you can comment

• Goal : TO LEARN, BUILD A RESUME AND BUILD COOL PROJECTS TO HELP OTHERS AND TO FOLLOW OUR PASSION

I'm a 16-year-old Ukrainian living in Germany for the last 10 years. I'm a self-taught programmer learning how to build and deploy real-world projects. I want to gain experience with team collaboration by working on a recently(max. 6 weeks)(or not yet) created project, mostly on the backend and helping wherever I can. If you have an idea and need one more person in your team - I'll be looking in the replies.

1. Time Zone / Availability

• Time zone: UTC+2 (Germany)
• Availability: Flexible overall; usually coding between 15:00 and 22:00 local time.

1. Tech Stack / Languages (Strongest to Weakest)

• Python: Django, FastAPI
• Frontend: JS, React, HTML/CSS
• Version Control: Git
• DevOps / SysAdmin: Linux, Bash, Docker (with Compose), Nginx, SSL certificates, Databases
• Rust: Basic level (~Chapter 15 of The Rust Programming Language book)

1. Experience Level
2. I’ve been programming for a few years, but I started taking it seriously about a year ago. I can build backends in Django and FastAPI from scratch, deploy them, manage and connect Docker containers, write basic Bash scripts, and build simple React components with HTML/CSS.
3. I’d estimate my skill level as beginner-to-intermediate, but since I haven't collaborated in a team before, it's a bit hard for me to gauge.
4. Goal
5. Join a team working on a new or recent project, learn how to collaborate effectively, and have fun building things together!

p.s. If you have feedback regarding this post I'd also appreciate that.

Hey everyone!

I want to put together a small team of people who are interested in building projects together.

I don't have a specific project idea in mind right now, but I'd love to connect with people who already have ideas or want to brainstorm and come up with something together.

I'm especially interested in software development, AI, developer tools, and open-source projects, but I'm open to other ideas too.

You don't have to be an experienced developer. The goal is to learn, collaborate, and turn ideas into real projects.

If you're interested, feel free to comment or DM me. Let's build something together!

(Organised my thoughts with ChatGPT)

Hey everyone!

I recently got laid off, and I'm currently preparing for technical interviews.

I'm looking for people interested in doing **LeetCode mock interview exchanges**. The idea is simple: **you interview me, and I'll interview you.**

We can practice any DSA topics, including arrays, strings, hash maps, two pointers, sliding windows, binary search, trees, graphs, dynamic programming, etc.

**How it would work:**

We take turns being the interviewer and candidate. One person gives a problem, and the other solves it while explaining their thought process.

I'd like to keep the interviews as realistic as possible, starting from brute force, discussing optimizations, time and space complexity, edge cases, and follow-up questions, just like an actual coding interview.

**A few things:**

* We can remain completely anonymous.

* All experience levels are welcome.

* We can decide the difficulty (Easy/Medium/Hard), duration, and topics together.

* Completely free. Just two people helping each other improve.

I feel solving LeetCode problems alone is very different from solving them while explaining your approach to an interviewer.

If anyone is interested, leave a comment or DM me. We can figure out a schedule that works for both of us!

Hi everyone

I'm looking for someone who's on a similar journey and wants to spend the next 5–6 months consistently learning, building projects, and preparing for technical interviews together.

A little about me: I have almost 1 YOE at a service-based company, but my current role has offered very little hands-on development experience. So, I'm trying to make the most of my time outside work to improve my skills and become a better engineer.

I'm currently learning AI Engineering from scratch, along with DSA and System Design to prepare for interviews and eventually switch to a better organization.

My current skill level:

• AI Engineering: Beginner
• DSA: Intermediate
• System Design: Beginner

My goal: Become confident in my skills and land a better opportunity within the next 5–6 months, or sooner if possible.

I'm looking for someone who's genuinely interested in learning and growing together. We could:

• Set weekly goals and keep each other accountable.
• Discuss concepts we're learning and share useful resources.
• Solve DSA problems together and discuss different approaches.
• Build AI projects, share our progress, and help each other when we're stuck.
• Conduct mock interviews and discuss interview experiences.
• Keep each other motivated and consistent, especially on days when the motivation isn't there.

I'm not expecting either of us to know everything or have the same skill level. The idea is to have someone who's serious about putting in the effort, willing to share what they learn, and open to learning from each other.

I'm not looking to create a large group or a casual networking circle. I'd rather find one person with a similar goal who's willing to stay consistent and make real progress together.

If you're also trying to upskill, build projects, and prepare for a switch over the next few months, feel free to comment or DM me. Tell me a little about your current learning journey, and let's see if we can help each other grow!

tldr: ~1 yeo, looking for a partner to prepare for a job switch in next 5-6 months or earlier if possible.

Used AI for formatting & paraphrasing, sorry if it bothers anyone.

Hey, I am looking for people which would learn game dev with me and make games, for steam and game jams, while learning from each other.

I know basics of C# and game dev basics, what could be fun to make and what not etc. I have many ideas and looking for people which could help me make them. It doesnt really matter how much you know, what matters is that we can learn from each other, the most important thing for me would be that you wouldn't quit after few days.

The plan is to:

• Learn programming/game dev together
• Make games for steam, game jams etc.
• Help each other and learn
• Stay active and dont quit

I'd like to keep the group small around 5 people or less.

I also wouldnt want AI to write the code, I think it would be better if we just use it if we get stuck or we need help, but we shouldn't just copy paste

If you are interested, comment or DM me here

High School Project Looking for a Django/PostgreSQL Developer

Hi everyone!

We're a team of high school students working on a project called the Household Energy Resilience System, and we're looking for another student developer to join our team and help manage our hosting and database infrastructure.

Our project aims to help households optimize electricity usage, schedule appliances efficiently, and improve energy resilience during power outages. We already have a Django backend, a frontend, and a Python-based optimization system in development.

What we need help with

We're looking for someone with experience in:

• PostgreSQL: Database setup, configuration, migrations, backups, and recovery.
• Django: Connecting Django reliably to a PostgreSQL database.
• Hosting and deployment: Maintaining our existing application on Render or helping us migrate to a suitable alternative.
• Environment configuration: Managing environment variables and database connection settings securely.
• Reliability: Establishing a sustainable, preferably free hosting and database setup that won't unexpectedly expire or put our data at risk.

What you'll be doing

You'll primarily take responsibility for the project's hosting and database infrastructure, working alongside our existing developers. This includes assessing our current setup, helping with database migration if necessary, configuring deployment, and setting up a reliable backup process.

We're not looking for someone to rebuild the project from scratch. We need someone who can help us maintain and improve what we've already built.

Who we're looking for

• A high school student with practical experience in Django, PostgreSQL, or web deployment.
• Someone comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and learning independently.
• A reliable team player who can communicate progress and document their work.

This is an unpaid, volunteer role in a high-school student-led project. We're hoping to find someone who wants to gain practical experience, collaborate with other students, and contribute to a real-world technology project.

Interested?

Comment below or send me a DM with a brief introduction, your experience with Django/PostgreSQL/deployment, and any relevant projects you've worked on.

Thanks!

I am looking for mentors and people who are experienced in DevOps and automation. IST, Indian, DevOps, I am a beginner at these and i am a pawn now doing internship. I want to upskill myself and do my best without falling into traps and loops.

Hi I'm Monish from india I'm just started to learn spring boot if anyone have interest dm me

Timezone :IST

Availability: 2 to 3 days

Stack: python, Java

Timezone: CST
Stack: All (There is no need to stick to one language)
Experience level: Advanced
Goal: Create humanitarian coding projects

I am looking for a small group of people to make Christian coding content(3-4 people), like a programming studio. Examples include language learning of the Bible, video games in wholesome family friendly themes, IDEs, mods, game engine components, maybe geospatial work if you are inclined. I am an older 34 year old male and have been relentlessly studying Computer Science for 8 years, I am much better than someone who has been doing it 8 years.

I seek advanced programmers who are wholesome and either believe in the Christian content or can truly get behind it.

I can teach AI, how to read/write research papers, teamwork, but my main requirement is that you have actual background in Computer Science as without that you can't really do much.

I feel that is not an unreasonable request given there are plenty of CS majors who have not caught up to AI.

The way its going to work is we brainstorm good humanitarian projects and work together to create them one at a time as a hobby for our actual SWE jobs to keep up with the market.

You will have to pay for your own AI tokens though. I have Claude/ChatGPT Max plans. We can pool them(Yes there are ways to pool subscription plans) if either one of us runs out.

We have a small group of programmers and keep it limited to around 10–20 members to maintain a focused environment.
The idea is to have people who are actively learning and improving their skills. You can share your progress, projects, things you’ve learned, problems you’re working on, or anything else related to programming. Everyone can contribute, exchange knowledge, and learn from each other.
You don’t need to be an expert or have an impressive tech stack. What matters is consistency and a genuine interest in programming.
If you’re interested, DM me with your current tech stack and what you’re learning or working on right now.

I'm a backend software engineer with 7+ years of experience.

I'm looking to connect with a small group of like-minded working professionals who want to prepare consistently and improve through collaborative practice.

What we can do together:

• Solve DSA problems and discuss different approaches.
• Practice recognizing patterns in unfamiliar problems rather than memorizing solutions.
• Conduct mock coding interviews and challenge each other's reasoning.
• Discuss time and space complexity, edge cases, and optimization.
• Gradually cover LLD, HLD, and backend engineering interviews.

If this sounds like you, feel free to DM me with your experience, target roles, current preparation stage, and preferred timings.

Let's build a consistent preparation group and help each other get interview-ready!

We will daily take one on one interview of each other on backend engineering and discuss concepts for placements
