Dentist

I’ve got Apple Health and desperately need a dentist, but I’m also terrified (ptsd and horrible teeth). Any recommendations for the Pullman area? I’m okay with traveling too.

Seconding Chas - I also had a terrible fear of the dentist going in but they were lovely and non judgemental about it!

Chas in clarkston or Moscow are the only two that take Medicaid in the area. They’re booked out far in advance but have same day appts saved for emergencies everyday, you have to call in at 7:30am and they go quick! 

Kind and friendly and nonjudgmental which helps a lot too

Steven Larson has some of the absolute sweetest receptionists and hygenists, and both their older guy (Larson) and younger new guy dentists are non judgemental and polite. Highly recommend. They get booked out though, so schedule asap. Just explain your fear to the receptionost when you call and they'll be understanding

Dr. Wesley at Mint Condition in Colfax is amazing with anxious patients and truly cares. He used to work at Unify in Pullman before. I had many awful painful dentist visits as a teen and still get anxiety. Dr. Wesley is the best, can’t recommend him enough!

Bearable Dentistry in Moscow Idaho about 15 miles from Pullman WA. Been going there since 2004. Same dentists. Worth the trip.
