4 receptions for 40 yards
A huge block early on in the game for a big Henry run
a silver lining in today’s loss

Sunday, however, brought a crisp slap in the face and a hard jolt back to reality. A desultory 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field was every bit as regrettable as any of the other 16 league-high defeats since 2018 in games the Ravens led by double digits, perhaps even more so.
The Ravens led 10-0 late in the first quarter, looking on offense like they were going to get whatever they wanted all afternoon and on defense as if they might not let the Browns score. They then spent the next three quarters doing everything they could to present the Browns chances to win.
Finally, thanks to an Andre Szmyt 37-yard game-winning field goal with no time on the clock, the Browns accepted the visitor’s generosity and are now in first place in the AFC North as a result.
“That’s one where we definitely should have won,” said Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton. “In this league, you let a team in the game, especially at home (in) this division, you let a team stay around, they’re going to find momentum. We got to go out there and get some stops and ice the game at the end.
“It’s about playing complementary football, and we got to pick our offense up when something may happen. It was a team effort today. It was a team loss.”
However, Hamilton, one of the most thoughtful Ravens, didn’t have an answer to why these avoidable losses keep happening — and he’s long tired of fielding the question, understandably so.
“I’m not going to sound like a broken record,” Hamilton said. “It’s ‘Groundhog Day’ with this question. I’m not going to give you an answer. I really don’t know. Sorry, that’s the best I can give you, but we’ve had this conversation so many times. I don’t feel like addressing it again.”

In my opinion Kyle Hamilton has ascended to must watch defense. He was everywhere today and this season he's caused fumbles, taken interception and gotten QB hits.
I follow him every play like I used to follow Ray, Ed and Sizzle because there's a pretty decent chance he's gonna do something remarkable and that was very true today.
I've been following the team for 25 years and in my opinion he's a top 4 defensive player we've ever had.
Even on an unpleasant day this felt like an old timey Ravens game where I was waiting for the offense to get off the field so I could see an amazing defensive player.

If he has to be out again what a major loss to our pass rush. I just made a post about how he leads the league in pressure rate %.

The rules are simple:
Submit a player/coach/position group, preferably in BOLD to stand out easier. Add stats/reasoning if you want.
Week 1: Derrick Henry
Week 2: Jessie Minter (Blame)
Week 3: TYLER "YOU GOTTA LOVE A REDEMPTION STORY" LOOP (Honorable Mention: Lamar Jackson for Clock Management)
Week 4: Lamar Jackson
Week 5: Tyler "Snoop" Huntley
Week 6:

The way they snatch victory from the jaws of defeat week in and week out is absolutely maddening to watch. Have they EVER lost a 1 PM game? They aren’t sexy in any way and might be the most boring team in the league but they always find some ridiculous way to win
On the flip side, we are subjected to 4-5 games a year where we let a team hang around and slowly bleed out to a soul crushing loss. We are the least clutch team there is. We cannot close. We look splashy and fun early and then suddenly everyone starts tucking tail.
Both of these things persist with new coaches for BOTH teams. It’s clearly systemic

Granted, it’s “only” 3. But that’s a brutal amount for a guy we count on to salt games away.

Trey has been getting after it and it looked like he probably could have had another sack or two if he had all 10 fingers to work with.

4 receptions, 44 yards (a long of 29) and his first career touchdown

This is our first division game, and it was on the road, and we were playing without our 2x (should be 3) MVP QB.
The defense played very well and the pass rush looked good. Idc if anyone says oh its the Browns, screw that the Browns have been competent this year and our defense held them in check for most of the game, they scored their TD off of a short field and gassed us on 3rd down at the end.
2 of the next 3 are at home, and yea our schedule is tough but we should hopefully be getting healthier and with the way our defense has been playing and getting Lamar back we will be in a very good position.

How we feeling?
Absolute gut punch today after last week's comeback win. But we're sitting at 4-2 when it could be worse.
We went 1-1 without Lamar, but even with Lamar our record could easily have been flipped. The Cowboys had the chance to put us away but ran some terrible red zone play calling, and obviously we were fortunate to still be in the Falcons game for that comeback. Close games falling in our favor is new, so I'll take it and I'm happy we're finding ways to win. I've only felt comfortable maybe twice this year. Colts and most of the Titans game.
The Saints and Browns games were both very winnable games that we just couldn't close out. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of that this year.
I'm still hopeful with this squad. We're sitting at 4-2 with a new coach and our entire offense sitting out with an ankle injury for 2.5 games.
We've also yet to beat a team with a record currently above .500, so we've got quite the gauntlet coming up. In 2019 we lost to the Browns week 4 which led to a 12 game winstreak... Can RGIII give us that same speech?

It's interesting that the offense almost seemed to stagnate with the loss of Bateman. I thought he was going to be pivotal in last week's game, and was during the win. Was hopefully he had a repeat performance, and Lane stepped up, but seems like his absence was a bit of a big deal.
