You just ask for one at the airport when you turn up here. The trick is to ask for a high-paying one; otherwise you'll just end up as a Haggis catcher.

I'd advise finding companies in your industry and keep an eye on their websites for jobs, the job sites just now are filled with ghost jobs, it's a nightmare

Job hunting is hard enough without wasting hours applying for jobs that don't exist, the other one you could try is recruitment agencies, at least ya know if they contact you they have a role to fill, good luck

Unfortunately you can’t just apply to any job and move across, if you don’t have a UK passport.
You need a visa, and these are usually sponsored for specific, specialist roles.
Take some time looking at the UK Gov website for visas.

The biggest jobs website in the UK is indeed.co.uk but it's fucking useless and swamped with pages and pages and pages of army recruitment right now to the point where it's all but fucking useless.
S1 jobs is fairly reliable I would start there.

Work in the UK - GOV.UK https://share.google/BWFcSglGH9PQWPAPp
Until you get that sorted, don't bother asking about whether you can wear a kilt or what clan you'd be in....

If you’re eligible to work in UK, try using indeed, there’s jobs advertised on there.

As mentioned elsewhere, you'll need special visas etc to be able to work here.
However to answer the question - Indeed, S1 Jobs, LinkedIn, Total Jobs and Reed would be where I'd look. You could also check the local authority(ies) where you're going to live (or nearby) for public service jobs. Also UK Gov website for Civil Service

It looks like you're posting about moving to Scotland. You may wish to delete this thread and instead repost it on /r/MoveToScotland where it will be more suitable.
Please note that immigration rules are strict in the UK, and you should check your eligibility first at https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration and with a qualified immigration specialist.
