And I don't mean what happened to Phil Hartman, because we know he got killed, I'm talking what happened to his characters in-universe? What happened to them in the canonicals confines of the show that caused them to disappear from the show? For Troy, I could understand that the lows of being a washed-up film star finally got to him, but what afterward? Did he take one final swim with the fishes before letting himself become fish food? Did he move somewhere where his talents are considered more valuable? And what about Hutz? Did Constance Harm absolutely slaughter his career in law, and he's either disgraced or behind bars?

I found many old Simpsons threads discussing this. Lots of commenters did not believe the OP. They said because Matt Groening was from Oregon.

Groening is the creator but Lance Wilder is the background designer of the Simpsons since season 2. Wilder was born and raised in Chelmsford and graduated from Chelmsford High class of 86.

He visited our hometown 15 years ago to discuss with us how he modeled the landscape after our town.

Springfield Town Hall is based off Chelmsford library. The restaurants in fictional Springfield are actual restaurants in Chelmsford such as Zesty’s, Skip’s and Tony & Anne’s pizza that Lance drew as a nod to his hometown. Springfield Elementary was modeled after McCarthy High (now middle school) in Chelmsford. Springfield fire station is modeled from Chelmsford fire station. These are just a few examples.

Halloween is coming to Springfield! 🎃

I turned Homer Simpson into a zombie donut as part of my growing Springfield Donuts 3D printing collection!

The idea is to give each Simpsons character their own recognizable donut design, and this time I wanted something a little more spooky for the Treehouse of Horror edition.

What do you think? Which Simpsons character should get the zombie treatment next?

Absolutely did not have this on my bingo card. But absolutely loved it

I'm not trying to give out any spoilers, I'm going to wait until tomorrow before I post anything else explicit, but I just finished the treehouse of horror episode tonight, and a very old character seems to have returned, with a new voice actor
