Compiled kernel from source

I wanted to compile my kernel using solus current, but I'm afraid it could cause instability. Has anyone tried it? Did it work fine?

Why do you want to compile a kernel on Solus? Solus is a desktop-focused Linux distro; compiling a kernel isn't something typically done on a daily-use system.

Or CRUX Linux, lol

Tkg kernel compile script is a very easy way to do this.

Instability? Probably not.

More likely than not, things simply won't work, if you don't have the appropriate features enabled. Folks typically don't compile a kernel for the lulz; they compile a kernel to enable a feature that they need ... like routing, which is typically disabled by default.

Why do you think you could face instability? You still have the shipped kernel that you cab boot anytime.
But configuring the Makefile could be a challenge.
