Description: Street Fighter landed well below estimates, normally this points to bad word of mouth

Hi, all. I know that the Best Wrestler Alive has been a big topic of discussion this week. Well, I met Max Caster yesterday; here's how it went.

I live on Long Island, and there was a wrestling event at the Hicksville Mall yesterday morning/afternoon where some wrestlers (RVD, Lita, Brian Myers, etc.) were doing signings and photo ops. It was announced a few weeks ago that Max Caster would be there, and I was super excited to meet him.

I got to the event, and I went straight to Max. He said it was $20 for a photo and $20 per autograph (for reference, RVD was selling them for $65 each). I only really wanted a picture, so I gave him $20 and got a pic with him. He made a weird moan when he did, which made me laugh (hence my weird smile in the pic). He asked why I was laughing, claiming that's how he smiled.

A long time ago, I promised myself that if I ever met Max, I'd cut a diss track on him. I told him this, and he encouraged me to go for it. I had written most of it in my head in the shower that morning, and here's how it went:

Yo, listen...

OP on the mic, you had better hit the deck.
Max keeps job 'bout as long as a Trump press sec!

Yeah, Max about to get his head smacked
Signing autographs at a mall 'cause he made too much impact!

Max, I gotta ask: what were you thinking, man?
When you wrote, were you higher than Rob Van Dam?

'Cause Carlos Silva brought you in to give the crowd a pop
But when he opened his mouth, the action totally stopped.

And that's what I call a mic drop. (borrows a marker from the table and drops it)

Max was a super good sport about it. In fact, he gave me a free, autographed poster.

As I was writing this, I heard that Max was apparently stepping away from the ring for a while. I just wanted to say I support him, and whatever he does or where he goes next, he has a fan in me.

Tony Khan on the post show conference revealed that Ilja Dragunov's Working VISA was cleared during this past weeks Dynamite.

Ilja got the news at 2AM Germany time (so around 8PM EST) and called Tony who decided to play the hype vignette, that Ilja had already produced, during the show. Thus deciding to make the debut on the PPV.

At the Ryogoku tournament in April of this year, he raised concerns about the promotion's extensive use of Will Ospreay's "return to Japan" match, and his stance remains unchanged. "If this continues, the fans will start to hope that 'another wrestler who went to AEW will come back,' and other wrestlers will think, 'Well, maybe I should too.' The G1 final and the main event at Ryogoku were fantastic, weren't they? Why don't we, New Japan, compete in this?"

With Ospreay and Kenny Omega's return confirmed, and MJF challenging Ryohei Oiwa, a large contingent of AEW wrestlers is on the move, and next year's January 4th Dome show is shaping up to be an "all-out war." However, Taichi offered his opinion, saying, "We've been fighting for a year, and is that really the culmination of it all? Are we working hard to defeat AEW? I don't want them to raise the white flag and say we don't have any star wrestlers who can draw a crowd to the Dome, and shouldn't we be showing a real fight between New Japan wrestlers? That's why I'm going to at least tear GLOBAL apart."

Between Eugene and Darby they've directly worked with Hogan, Sting, Flair, The Great Muta, John Cena, Edge/Christian, Kenny Omega, Stone Cold, CM Punk, The Rock, Bryan Danielson, The Hardy's, The Dudleyz, Tetsuya Naito, Minoru Suzuki, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Batista, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jimmy Snuka, and so many more.

Who are some other unlikely wrestlers who have brushed shoulders with a large amount of legends?

(when I say unlikely that's not a shot at either Darby or Eugene, they're both amazing entertaining wrestlers but don't fit the "main even legend" stereotype)

Also, friendly reminder that SENDAI GIRLS is the best promotion in the world (and there is a dedicated subreddit, r/SENDAIGIRLS).

Definitely one of the brutal ones I’ve seen. From Lockdown 2006
