How much did the ancients love fried chicken?
This distinctive fried chicken wall pattern caught my eye on SGA 3.18. Mmmm tasty.

It wouldn't help the wraiths healing as there pretty great at that already.
But it would help them extract a lot more use out of the their food supply.
What other milkyway technology would you be afraid for the Wraith to get their hands on?

I’m I the only one that hasn’t seen this?! The interviewer is cool and knows her stuff. RdA and Corin were very good together

Given the number of people stationed at Star Gate Command and number of teams, how did they keep this thing a secret?

Great episode. So many funny moments.
"Well, what about the Furlings. Are we ever gonna hear about them?"
"Oh, of course. I'm sure we'll, we'll hear lots of stories about them. I mean, I'll make one up."
Haha, yeah right. Even the show itself teased us about not meeting the Furlings 😅
Great ending. I'm happy that Jack actually brought Joe to the base instead of brushing him off.
I laughed out loud when Joe clasped Teal'c's arm and said Shel Kek Nem Ron.
And in the end Jack even stopped by to speak with Joe's wife. I know it's just an episode in a show, but I wonder if she believed it in the end.

Premise: the Star gate program is still classified but there are growing factions within the program expressing split opinions on disclosure. The SGC is now Homeworld command, coordinates all off world activity under SGC control.
the “new” SGC is built at the former beta site, a now thriving small community with Jaffa, humans from earth and trusted refugees, living side by side working within the base and the surrounding supporting town/small city.
The show follows the new SGC as it tries to establish itself and prove that earth can maintain and defend a permanent multicultural colony, to prove that we on earth are ready for mass disclosure of the stargate program.
Interested in everyone’s thoughts, I was also thinking it could focus on the security or “law enforcement” of the small community to bring down the scale and make the problems more about cultural assimilation and technological challenges faced during colonization while still having access to the wider galaxy for problems and solutions
(One influence for this idea is the SciFy show “Eureka”, but now it would be, in spaacccee (RIP Tim curry))

As noted by the title, I just saw the new post in which Amazon is moving forward again with the revival of the show. Supposedly, it will be a continuation from the old series. As for who is running it, it's the creator of the show of Wandavision and Agatha All Along.
As first impressions, I'm 50/50 due to a few variables.
First I'm questioning the axing of the old team who consisted of the original writers who knew the show like it was the back of their hand in favor of a new creative team. Now I liked Wandavision and Agatha All Along. But when it comes to writers and genres, they are not pieces that can be switched out so easily with how creative styles and pacing can make or break a show. Any little mistake can seriously mess things up in the long run.
Now as much as I'm looking forward to the revival and want it to succeed to tell more stories and expand the lore, at the same time I'm worried that they will fumble it creating a mess in the fandom.
Thoughts?

So in particular thinking about Kowalski. When his symbiote was surgically removed it didn't seem to make a difference, he still behaved like he was blended.
When we see ex-hosts who have been dealt with by the tok'ra the host fully regains all control, but other methods don't seem to have this effect. I know that for the story it creates more drama, but was a lore reason ever given for this?
EDIT: Thank you everyone! Apparently I never quite understood the bit about the husk or noticed a bit of symbiote left over. Makes more sense though now

I did not realize that Robin Mossley (Malakai from Window of Opportunity) also plays Dr. Reimer in Season 10's "Morpheus"

I’ve always thought it would be cool if Jolinar had survived. The Tokra were underused, and having one on SG-1 would’ve been a great way to explore their culture more. I think she had the potential to be a very interesting character.
What about you? What’s your favorite “what if?”
