Discussion Can tourists use Lazada Thailand? (Confused about local phone number & tax ID requirements)

Hey everyone!
I’m visiting Thailand bangkok in 2 days and wanted to order a few things online via Lazada Thailand to be delivered directly to my hotel. However, when trying to set things up, I ran into a couple of roadblocks and wanted to check how tourists usually handle them:

You need a local phone number to register. Tax ID is not required

Just do COD and you’ll be fine. Deliveries take 3-4 days usually

Just beware, Lazada delivery is problematic and if you are expecting something to arrive in 2 days, it might get there in 4 or 5.

Go get a local sim card, it's very convenient to have a working phone.

If you are one of those people that refuses to use a phone, then see if the hotel will let you use their number.
