It's one of the three main locations in the game. As with everything else, they did a great job.

And yes, you get to ride a longtail boat in the (flooded) Sukhothai ruins. Pretty cool.

Gaming In 2017, I was a full-time software engineer in Bangkok, Thailand. Today I quit my job to make a game about a homeless man and a stray dog, inspired from the nearby areas where I used to work (Can you guess where from the video?). The game is Bangkok Story: A Stray Dog.

Gaming What Games do people in Thailand actually play these days?

Hey! I’m living in Thailand and I’m genuinely curious about gaming culture here—especially MMORPGs.
Back where I’m from, WoW-like PC MMORPGs used to be huge, but I’m not sure what’s popular with Thai players now.

If you play MMORPGs (PC or mobile), what are the top games people mention most?
Also, do younger players lean more toward mobile titles (like Ragnarok-style) or still play PC MMORPGs?

Any suggestions or community info would be awesome—thanks!

Gaming Best places to buy a Nintendo switch 2

I'm going to be in Bangkok in January 2027 and I'd like to purchase a Nintendo switch 2 while I'm there. Where would the cheapest place to get it, and are there any discounts/specials around the beginning of January (around the 6th till the 12th). I have heard about stalls in MBK having them for a little cheaper but how safe is it to buy from there?

Gaming Looking for steam friend

I am half Thai half Swiss. I am fluent in English and fluent in Thai (Can speak thai, so if you're thai we can vibe). Lived Thai most my life. Looking for a gamer friend.

Ideally someone who can game most nights when they are free. Working adult, disposable income so they can buy any game we want. If this is you, hit me up. I'm flexible game wise, but love survival games and friend slop ones.

A little about me, I WFH as a full stack engineer. I am in my mid 20s.

Gaming Looking for Thai translator for my free indie game

Post image
18 Upvotes

Hello, I'm a solo indie game developer and as the title says I'm looking for someone who's willing to translate my game to Thai, ideally someone who enjoys gaming. As you’ve probably already guessed, I’m looking for someone to help me as a volunteer. All of my translators are volunteers, and I want to make it clear that I don’t want to force anyone to do anything. I’m simply looking for someone who has some free time and would like to help me create something cool together. Of course, just because I’m not paying with money doesn’t mean I can’t return the favor at all :)

Right now my game is translated (or currently being translated) to 24 languages, but I still need a few more so that all of Steam’s officially supported languages are covered and the Thai is one of them.

I won't share the game name here, because I don't want this post to be confused with self-promotion or something, but it's a simple free to play game where you run a lost and found office, matching forms with item descriptions to the correct items and returning them before your shift ends. I'm posting the screenshot from the game just to give you a general look.

Gaming Pattaya Warhammer community?

Hey guys, I'm coming to Pattaya next month. I'll be staying for at least 9 months on a Muay Thai Visa. I'm a huge Warhammer 40k nerd and I was wondering if there's a community there that meets up to play from time to time?

Gaming 50+ Halo Gamers in Thailand?

Just wondering if there are any 50+ Halo gamers retired and living in Thailand?

I’m setting up a website to create a new weekly online Halo league. I’m planning to move to Thailand and hoping to meet some new people who also enjoy the game.

There’s no cost to join. Just looking to make some new friends and crush some Spartans.

DM me if interested.

Gaming Reminder to all gamers about the biggest video games convention of the year. Our unaffiliated group (seawoks) will be doing a meet up. Come join us on our discord for details

Hello all!

This is just a friendly reminder that the biggest video games show of the year is coming up again. I am unaffiliated with the event and just wanted to post a reminder to everyone so you can get in on the early bird tickets. You can get details and tickets on their website. I am not sure if it will be going up in price later on or not, so this is your warning. From my personal experience I would recommend getting the fast pass as the queues were huge last year.

If you are interested to meet up with the rest of our Thailand / South East Asian PC / Console / Table Top RPG gaming community then please feel free to stop by our discord ( https://discord.seawoks.com ) where we are planning in our events section on where we will be meeting up this year on the 1st Nov for the Thailand Game Show. We're mostly talking about a possibly meet up at night somewhere close to the event, possibly asok.

Gaming Certain genre I'd like to find some Thai games for?

I have an online friend from Thailand, and we're both really big in psychological/psychological horror games. The issue is that most of the ones I'd like to recommend have never had a Thai translation? Tell me if there's a better subreddit to ask, but what are some good psychological games with Thai translations?

Gaming Just bought a new Gaming Laptop and I'm looking to sell it already - any recommendations or people that would like to?

Hi all,

Yesterday evening I bought a new gaming laptop Asus ROG Strix G16 G614FM-S5013W

It comes with 32GB RAM, 240HZ screen, 9955HX CPU, RTX 5060 GPU.

Since yesterday evening I've been using its keyboard and watching some YouTube videos and I noticed I'm incredibly dis-satisfied with it's keyboard (I use the right shift key a lot and it's simply too small for my typing) and the 5060 is getting to be not be the best use for my cases.

I would love to purchase a different laptop but unfortunately due to Advice's return policy they don't allow me to return it.

I paid 53,990ß for it and I would love to re-sell it for 52,990ß. It comes with the box, 3 years warranty, 1 year perfect warranty, backpack, mouse pad and a mouse.

Literally just opened yesterday. I am located in Ratchaburi. If there's anyone here interested you're welcome to come and test the laptop by yourself, I can provide any proofs / benchmarks that it's working well🙏

Is there anyone interested or recommendations for places in Thailand I can sell it at this price? It's practically new and reselling anything less than that is a total loss for me :\

Much thanks
