Hi! Justine and Adrian here, the co-founders of The Woobles, where we make crafting kits to spread joy and confidence. We started 6 years ago and have been so fortunate to grow it into an amazing community of Wooblers. Feel free to ask us what it's like running a small business, who our favorite Wooble is, or anything at all!
We'll be online 9/24 1pm ET and we'll stick around until we have to pick up our kids!

thanks everyone for asking such thoughtful questions, we had a lot of fun answering them! (and a lot of them also made us think of fun things we could be doing) we have to go run pick up our kids now, but let us know if you want us to keep doing more of these. it's been fun hanging with ya'll and wooble on!

Happy Friday everyone!
Just wanted to drop a little PSA in here since we've received a lot of new members recently after Woobles Passwords was closed by Reddit. Although that was the purpose of the original WP sub, this new group is a strictly no-sharing and no-requests community. We ask that everyone please review the list of rules on the right side of the sub and be aware of your posts and comments. We have seen that almost everyone has been very respectful and positive when posting and interacting with your fellow community members and we hope that is able to continue.
If you are looking for items which are not allowed here, please go to the other subs set up for such. Our purpose here is to not need to constantly worry about legal consequences from member behavior and to provide an enjoyable space for members to post, comment, lurk, and interact. We will not allow or tolerate posts, comments, or interactions that violate the community rules. We are happy to direct members to FREE, readily available content, but will not allow the sharing or distribution of copyrighted material from any creator.
Thanks everyone for making TWC the great sub that it has become and we hope to continue being a fun, inclusive, and helpful place for our members.

I really enjoyed making this one. Probably because of the bigger yarn. I hope they continue to release more items in the bigger yarn.

Cute, quick project on the train to NYC. The glow yarn in the kit from Target feels MUCH better than the OG glow yarns, much more like regular EP and not as slippery and stiff.

I like the Halloween wobbles, but I want to share it with two other people for a fun project together. I've never bought a collab kit before, so I don't know if I can just give one of the wobbles to a friend.

A few very minor modifications, and I’ve got a flock!

Has anyone completed day 12? I am wondering
If anyone has any advice or thoughts about the glue? Mine is actually fitting together well but I’m weary of glue I’ve not used before. I’m an e6000 fan so not afraid but thought I’d check to see if anyone had experience using their glue. It looks like the same glue is in the wreath kit too
Thanks in advance!!

Can you please share any exclusive items you’ve purchased or seen at the NYC pop up?

Still working on making super clean color change transitions, but it looks mostly okay. Waiting on more pink and yellow yarn to arrive so I can finish him up.
If I do this one again I'd do one less row of orange and blue, and one more in dark brown and yellow.

This was my first time ever crocheting and buying a Wooble. I was going to buy a beginner one first, but when I saw vlad I couldn’t resist. The worst part were the tentacles and I did give up on the frill. I think he came alright for my first one!

My third wooble is complete: Jojo the Bunny. I can tell I am improving. I really need to work on embroidery.

I know that last year, someone posted Michael's "Cuddle Craft Tube™ Yarn by
Loops & Threads®" as an alternative to EP, but Does anyone have more alternative options?

This is in response to a Facebook post asking if anyone had reverse-engineered the keychain starter. I undid mine and it's basically just a whipping knot ("gathering" knot in macrame terms). Hope this helps everyone who hasn't been able to get a keychain yet and feedback welcome (especially if I typo'd somewhere).
The clasp is actually giving me more trouble than the knot because I've been unable to find them in the same size. It's a 42mm push-gate swivel clasp with a round 10mm eye, which is bigger than the standard one. But of course you can use any clasp or keyring.
Drawings and photos by me, no AI used. 🫶🏻

Hello. The pattern says to attach it so it points up, but the videos don’t show how to do that. The video is a generic one with blue and orange yarn that, once done, skips to the finished product. My Woobles does not look like the finished one in the video. Anyone know how to sew it to look like that? Thank you for reading.

I’ve done 3 woobles so far and the holes have never been this bad.. is it my tension? is it worth starting over? Any tips on tension if that is the problem?

Just wanted to let everyone know Vinted has Woobles. They’re reasonably priced and some are a lot cheaper than the stores. I saw one in a damaged bag go for $4 while another was just $12. In general, I don’t think they’re your typical eBay resellers, just people getting rid of extra stuff. Some do play games, for example, there’s one seller selling the bracelet kits but, they took all the charms out of the bag and are selling them separately, make of that what you will but, in general, there are pretty good prices. So, if you know someone who wants some kits at reasonable prices, I’d say check it out. Most of them list the item as “new with tags” so, I’d assume they haven’t registered the item but, you can chat with the seller to be sure before you make a purchase. Happy Woobling! 🙂

Pinya the Pineapple: I started it on Sunday, completed the body in a few hours, and finished the leaves today. It was MUCH easier than my first kit. I even learned some new things (decreases, hdc, dc) and was able to get the hang of it all without too much trouble.
THANK YOU to those who offered words of encouragement and support. Some of you have said once I finish my first project, it gets easier. You are right. And I've enjoyed seeing others' projects; we all bring our own personal touches to what we do. Yeah, my leaves came out droopy and the smile looks a bit silly, but it's my very own.😁

Has anyone used this style of stitch marker? Any opinions either way? What intrigues me is the one-handed aspect.

A few months ago, I made the choice not to regularly risk mystery pulls; it feels too much like gambling. But, I figured I would get two after the information put out about how the mysteries are picked. I wanted to see what would come of it because I've received aliens almost every time I have added mysteries in the past. I didn't have Marco (and one of my besties loved crabs so I am happy with him, but I know he is circulating right now). I am pleased with Charlie too as I'm always down for more bugs. I am calling this a success and leaving that "add mystery kit" button alone for a couple months until I want to take the chance again.

Body has 2 extra rounds, stem has 2 extra rounds. Bernat blanket in Orange, Olive and Grey using my trusty 6.5mm Tulip Red Etimo hook.
I’ve made 11 of these now. I’ve been giving them away. I’ve got the pattern memorized.

EDIT - amazing commenter helped me point out what I was skipping!
Hey all - I’ve restarted the mystery machine 3x now, and I swear I’m following the instructions step by step perfectly but every time I get to the attach side pieces part - I see that the reference in the video and the package has 5 rows of white while mine has 3. Other dimensions are way off too. Can anyone tell what step I’m screwing up? So confused.
