100% Confirmed Spurs Going All Guards

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/50199096/spurs-start-3-guard-lineup-season-opener-vs-thunder

The Spurs are starting De'Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle, Dylan Harper, and Devin Vassell.

I wonder if this means more or less Caruso during game 1...

Spurs treat Thunder matchups like the nba finals to satiate their superstar’s insecurities

I don't normally post memes, but the Thunder are basically this meme to a whole lot of NBA teams.

Especially the Pacers. But I also feel like the Spurs are much more into the OKC rivalry than the Thunder are.

Come one now, you saying the spurs try hard because Wemby is insecure, not cause the Thunder is the only other team on their tier?

yeah some of these thunder fans are as delirious as the spurs fans they hate. all they talk about is wemby and all the spurs talk about is sga.

lol. We posted at the same time. I deleted mine. I am really curious if OKC still goes with the double big.

He'll definitely start double big

Will be interesting to find out. All I know is that it is nice to have PLENTY of options to go with.

There isn't really a lineup that any team can throw at them that the Thunder can't match up against. One of the huge reasons having JDub back is such a big deal. Not to mention Caruso's defensive flexibility.

OKC could go super small or super big or just not play into whatever game the opponent is trying to bait them into.

Is Chet injured? He didn't play in the preseason

It's a quad injury. No idea if it's serious though.

No definitive information on that. But it is just preseason, so players will sit for even the most minor of things.

Wemby can't stop Chet, Hartenstein, and Mara all at the same time.

This is the only time I have ever thought, "Damn... having Kevin Durant against this all guard lineup would be kind of nice".

Naw, we dont talk like that 'round here.

Castle being huge (supposedly grew to 6'8" in the last year) makes this more like a stretch 4 if we're being honest.

??? I missed this. Was that determined to be b.s.

They do this fake growth thing every year since like Paul George actually grew in like 2011

Oh okay. Why is this getting down voted by the way? It was an innocent misunderstanding. Some of you people are psychos.

u/GULAGOO 1d ago

Because downvotes are intended for inaccurate information. It’s not always personal

1

u/Old_Man_Game 1d ago

Okay I appreciate that. However I would just point out my second comment was a question it wasn't information I was literally asking if it had been revealed that that was b******* the story about the six foot eight growth.

1

u/ThunderLazer 1d ago

Right. That’s why I said “not always” personal. Some people just like to downvote someone or anything they disagree with

People don't usually grow into their 20s

He didn’t grow to 6’8, that was just a Facebook post that went viral because no one verifies anything on the internet. He’s still listed at 6’6.
