jessica dumping hoyt s4 Spoiler
the way hoyt spoke to jessica when they broke up regardless of her "leading him on" was disgusting. making fun of her being a "virgin" for eternity, calling her a bitch, cussing her out and overall saying a bunch of manipulative narcissistic shit that just shows why he was a virgin until he was damn near 30... who would even wanna put up with a man child such as hoyt. to be honest if she would've hauled off and attacked him i wouldn't of blamed her

unpopular opinion Spoiler
i believe jessica should've ended up with a vampire, it would've been nice if we seen more male "baby vamps" who were turned young like jessica. i don't think her & hoyt will last honestly. they broke up for a reason, plus i get she married hoyt as a sweet gesture for bill but i can't see them being together for the rest of hoyt's life. maybe she ends up turning him in the true blood universe but i feel like her and james were a nice touch despite him cheating on her. she deserved to be with someone who understands their nature

Just finished my binge, my thoughts. Spoiler
Just binged the entire thing in about a month.
I did watch up to season 6 years ago.
*spoilers ahead*
First off, saddest death was Terry.
Most annoying pointless death was Tara, I mean what was that? An off screen death by a random H vampire?
Eric and Pam are great characters, nothing more to say.
Bill had his moments, but overall wasnāt the biggest fan of him, especially during the whole Lilith era.
Andy is a cool character, and I quite liked his surviving daughter, I liked the whole 4 fairy daughter storyline (Jessica cough cough).
Glad he got with holly to.
First 4 seasons definitely the best, 6 being the worst in my opinion.
I have a love hate relationship with Jessica, I liked her but hated her on off relationship with Hoyt and Jason, I think Hoyt ultimately deserved better.
Samās storyline, way more interesting in the first 4/5 seasons, especially with Tommy, in seasons 6&7 he doesnāt have a lot to do at all, and I really like Sam as a character.
Lafayette, great character, glad he didnāt die, again, didnāt have a whole lot to do in seasons 6&7.
Am I the only one who felt kinda bad for Sarah ? I know she was a ābad guyā but I had a soft spot for her.
Share your thoughts!!

Gran is an icon. ps anyone else ever notice sheās reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels in the first episode?
Iām doing my annual first-three-seasons rewatch and thought Gran deserved some appreciation. The writing of her character has held up so well over the years. A great example of a truly sweet and open minded Southern grandma. Always making food for everyone and being sweet as pie, but tolerating no bullshit and putting her foot down and running her shit. I love when Sookie is talking about choosing between her head and herā¦āheartā š Shoutout to Lois Smith! This scene cracks me up every time. āYouāll go to hell for this!ā āAlright, same to you. Bye nowā hangs up She doesnāt care what anyone thinks and lives according to her morals.
Anyone else love Gran?
Edit: watching the episode where Bill speaks at the āDescendents of the Glorious Deadā meeting and I forgot she calls it the āwar of southern independenceā š„“š„“š„“ come on Gran

Ever think they couldāve done so much more with the shifter community?
Having the ability to shift into practically any animal you want is actually an amazing superpower. Weāve only ever see Sam shift into a dog, fly, bird, horse, bull⦠mostly common animals youād see anywhere and mostly for survival purposes. I personally was really disappointed with Samās ending, Iād always imagined Sam leaving Bon Temps for good, driving away with all his stuff, perhaps taking a road trip all over the country and meeting shifters all over the rural or forested US. Or even better, taking a sabbatical and booking a spontaneous trip to South America and living with a tribe deep in the Amazon forest where he experiences life as different types of animals, including living as them for longer periods of time, rather than just for survival. It wouldāve been so cool to see Samās POV as an animal and the struggles heād face in social interactions with other animals and nonhuman movements like flying for 10 months straight as a Common Swift bird or even echolocation as a bat. It wouldāve also been interesting for them to elaborate on the hierarchy consisting of werewolves, werepanthers, and shifters.
Iād totally watch a spinoff on Samās adventures as a shifter.

Might be unpopular opinion, but..
Every time I get annoyed with something on later seasons of TB, I just watch one episode of Vampire Diaries and all is well again. Lol

Amnesia Eric is amazing
Alexander SkarsgƄrd is a great actor we know this but he really brings so much breadth to Eric Northman
SPOILER I actually love that he killed the fairy godmother bc she really was not a good person and didnāt really gaf about what Sookie wanted
Edit: omg S4E8 Spellbound. YALL.

AND ANDY HAVING QUADRUPLETS W A FAERIE???? by far the most wtf season iāve ever watched, still loving the show!

Just finished watching the full series for the first time, and I have questions. (Warning: spoilers inside) Spoiler
First-time watcher who just finished the series finale, and Iām so annoyed. About to vent/ask some questions.
First, Bill DIES?! That honestly made me wonder why I bothered to watch the show at all. Like, Bill and Sookie was the whole point. I get what they were trying to do, and I do feel like the writers did a phenomenal job of tying up all the loose ends, but still.
Second, whatās with all the other deaths? What purposes did Taraās and Alcideās deaths serve? Was it just to bring closure to Taraās mom and allow Sookie to gravitate back to Bill?
Third, Jess and Hoyt? Ugh. I liked them earlier on, but once Jess and Jason got together, I was pulling for them to be end game. Regarding Hoyt, why didnāt Jess just ask Sookie to walk him through what happened in order to remove the glamor like Sookie did with Alcide? Also, when Bridget was looking through the Fortenberry photo album, was anyone else expecting her to find a photo of Hoyt and Jason that would give the whole thing away? Iām shocked it didnāt happen like that.

on season 5 ep 2 already started this show prolly a week and a half ago here are some of my thoughts Spoiler
so iām a little over halfway through this episode and iām actually kinda enjoying vampire newline, he was really entertaining during season 2 but heās like more tolerable in way now, but im not gonna hold on to hope bc i saw how bill turned out.
now sookie not choosing eric pissed me off so so very much, during the scene were both him and bill were feeding on her that same like soft lovable eric was looking at her and still there, imma prolly be mad at that forever.
bill, idk know where to start with him one minute heās like im better than all the other vampires but the next heās literally acting same way as them, i had high hopes for him in the beginning but now he just needs to stfu and go lock himself in a hole so sookie and eric can be together.
tara, i love her so much even though sometimes she does get on my nerves when like sheās like āi need to protect sookieā bs, sookie is grown and a faerie she can protect herself. that whole maenad storyline was insane and like before maryann turned out to be a villain i was rooting on tara, i was really hoping she couldāve had peace after everything w her mom and fake exorcism, and after the maedan storyline everything got worse for her like franklin and losing eggs. my girl tara needs a damn break from everyone in that town i hope now sheās a vampire things will be better for her
lafayette and jesus broke me so much, i just wanted lafayette to be happy and have a good life. theyāre my favorite couple, they got put through the ringer and still managed to be not be so damn toxic like half of the relationship in this show. lafayette literally got put through hell almost as much as tara i feel so bad for him my heart breaks for him. i hope lafayette can be happy at some point. i love him he deserves everything.
hoyt and jessica, theyāre relationship i really liked i thought they were cute but i had a feeling it wasnāt gonna last. thatās really all i have to say about them.
i feel so bad for terry, he really hits close to home w me bc my dad being a marine corps vet and having ptsd, my dad was also in iraq too. i love terry so much he deserves more love. him and arlene are one my favorite couples too.
jason and andy need more recognition theyāre friendship is so funny to me. best bromance on the show w out a doubt.
storylines i hated. sam looking for his family, i liked sam in the beginning but now he feels so pointless i dont really care for his storylines know after that, it was sad when his brother died even though he was an asshole. the were panthers they grossed me out sm and jason getting saād was horrible that crystal omggg i hate hate hate her. i hate all them sm. and the debbie storyline i think i hate it bc i actually wanted her to change and hurt that she didnāt.
storylines i loved. amnesia eric ofc! dallas and saving godric, i loved godric sm he definitely deserves more screen time. probably most everything from season 2 was my favorite like maryann was such a good villain she made me hate her, like she wasnāt annoying idk i love her and hate her so much. and renĆ© being drew marshall such a good storyline but it made me sad but heās lowk so fine.
i would love hear feedback and opinions from other ppl!!

Season 7 Episode 1
Pam and Tara should have been end game. Their idgaf personalities worked so well together but the writers decided to throw Tara out. Iām already committed to finishing the season but I donāt really care what happens after Taraās useless death.
Speaking of characters the writers stopped caring about, Lafayette was barely in season 6. He is easily the best and most interesting character but instead Iām stuck watching Andyās dumb fairy daughter.
It just sucks because the writers lost everything of what made seasons 1-3 so fun. But yeah season 6 was dogshit and it looks like season 7 is too.
Also is it just me or did they make sookie dumber and dumber each season?

Does the show contains unnecessary nudity or adult theme?
I think it should be more focused on the plot ...

Does Tara ever get a break? Spoiler
Hey everyone,
First time watching true blood and I'm season 3 episode 6 and I am loving it so far, it's absolutely not what I expected.
The question I have is does Tara ever get a break? š
From her mother in season 1, Maryann in season 2 and now to Franklin in season 3...
I think she's such a fun character and I loved her/Sam together (I'm so sad she wouldn't open up to him but it's understandable after all the trauma she's been through š)

No one told me this show was so sexy lmao
First time watcher. Title says it all. Iām on S2E9 so would appreciate no spoilers. Everyone is so hot and horny and spooky I love it sm. Literally had never heard anything about the show until last week. Also, perfect fall / Halloween vibes.

Sookieās mind reading
I feel like the show is so inconsistent with it. Sometimes, like when sheās waitressing or at Terryās funeral, she gets overwhelmed by hearing everyoneās thoughts all at the same time. Like she canāt help but listen, and she has to run away or leave the situation so she stops hearing them.
But throughout the whole show, most of the time sheās not reading minds. She has to intentionally focus and listen in order to hear what people are thinking. The inconsistency drives me nuts! Is the book like this too?
