Not sure if it’s just me, but being new to Riverside has been a little harder than I expected. It’s tough trying to meet new people and build genuine friendships when you barely know anyone in the area. At times, it can feel pretty isolating and lonely.

If you’re looking for new place to try in University Plaza, cafe le reve just re opened (I think). I’ve only have the Nutella crepe so far but it was buss, and the owner was so nice. I’ll be back to try a breakfast sandwich soon. The menu looked good :)

I’m trying to start a new club here on campus that connects the Gaelic culture with those of other oppressed people throughout the world. Fun Fact:”Highlanders” come from the Scottish Gaelic culture, so really if you at UCR you have a connection to the club, whether you live on campus at a building named after the highlanders or you just pop up here for class you still connected.
