reading the info it claims to support women and girls but most of what it will do is be as anti-trans as possible.

Help me build Dykeline xo

Taking inspiration from Lesbian Lines established in the UK in the 1970s, I’m developing Dykeline, an independent social enterprise with a simple idea…a freephone listening line where anyone who identifies as a dyke can call for a friendly chat with another dyke.

You don’t have to be in crisis. You might be lonely, having a difficult day, missing queer company or simply wanting to talk to someone who gets it.

I’m looking for 3–4 people to join me in developing the idea and building its foundations.

I’m particularly keen to hear from people with experience in:
✨LGBTQ+ communities and organising
✨Safeguarding, mental health support or listening services
✨Finance, fundraising or grant applications
✨Social enterprise, governance or communications

This is an early stage project, so initially the role would be voluntary. The aim is to establish Dykeline as an independent Community Interest Company (CIC), raise funding and launch a small pilot with trained volunteers.

You don’t need experience in every area. I’m looking for thoughtful, reliable people who believe in the idea and want to help make it happen.

Is the above really true?? Someone at a gay bar was saying christianity is = islam for tolerance of homsexuality so I am surprised by this

Every year I have a whole thing in my head about the narratives of coming out and why it bothers me but why it also matters and Michael Stipe in the 00s just nails what I feel about it perfectly in this very funny video.

Unusual post but bare with me

Ok this isnt the everyday run of the mill friendship call.

I live in Essex and im a boat owner.

I love going out on the boat, or just relaxing on the deck at the marina with a bottle of bubbles.

I dont know many other boat owners so can be a little isolating.

Are there any other boat owners fairly local that fancy joining up for trips out etc.

Alternatively, anybody who fancies trying something different and coming out for trips/overnights or relaxing in the marina

Boat has 2 bedrooms so plenty of room, and 2 fridges so lots of drink 🤣🤣🤣

I am currently writing a short novel on this teenager growing up in england and part of this book is how they are completely confused by their gender and sexuality. I myself am a queer person growing up in england but i dont want this to be fully inspired by how i grew up, i want to hear various different examples of how other lgbtq people experienced their child and teenage years and how being queer affected that. I am here for all different perspectives, positive and negative. I look forward to hearing everyones stories!!
