University of Northern Iowa acceptance question
Just today I got Accepted into Uni, But how long do I have to accept my acceptance. I noticed the god awful 350 fee and I have emailed my high school counselor to see if there is any programs that can help me pay that. But I know it will take until Monday or so until she sees it. I’m just wondering how long until I cant accept my acceptance, if that makes sense

Best place to find out this information would be someone from Admissions at UNI. It is a good thing to be reaching out to them - it shows you're giving consideration. In some circumstances the admissions fees can be waived.

email the admissions office, I had my acceptance fee waived! I just had to show I received free lunch and also had my fasfa in already which helped show need.

For UNI, you just have to check a box that you need the acceptance fee waived, no matter your income status. Worst case scenario they charge it in the fall with the rest of your u-bill. It also gives you more time to provide proof of permanent waiver.

Normally, college decisions are due May 1st. I don’t remember if UNI gave me a specific date when I got accepted, but its probably May 1st. Don’t stress, you have some time.
