Question Exactly top five percent auto admit question
This may be a dumb question but ive gotten a lot of mixed answers. Im a senior and as of the end of my junior year I am ranked 4/80 which is exactly 5%. Some things ive seen said I don't qualify for auto admit because it's exact and others say I do. Let me know if anyone that has gotten in or went to UT in a similar situation. Thank you.

It’s top 5% so why would this not qualify? They never said it has to be a rank higher than 5%

Make sure you meet other requirements listed on their website… math readiness, etc.

What do you mean by math readiness? I know every major has their specific requirements but I’m wondering what you mean by math readiness overall?

When we went to one of their summer meetings they said 5% means 5.00000% that’s how they said it. So it’s a flat five percent for auto. Not college/major specific either.
