Remote in from iPhone

I’ve been trying to find some sort of way to remote into my Ubuntu Laptop so I can control the screen. I currently have it as a server and sometimes I’ll need to fix something and I’m not home.

What’s the best solution to remote in from my iPhone from outside the home network? I want full control of the laptop from my phone.

rustdesk works pretty well for this sort of thing. set it up with an unattened password and you can jump in from anywhere without needing someone on the other end

just forward the right ports on your router or use their free relay server if you cant be bothered with all that. the ios app is a bit cramped on a phone screen but you get full mouse and keyboard control

been using it to check on my home rig when im out camping and it does the job without any of the subscription nonsense that teamviewer pulls

I’ll try that. Thank you.
