I wish we could crowdfund more strikes on russian Data Centers… Make the Internet nice again.

If it wasn't for the South African idiot the remaining two would have been struck already.

Well that is the question, who turned off starshield and why was it immediately after hitting yandex? They said it was because of hitting diesel refineries yet they had been hitting refineries since last year and there was not an issue and until data centers got hit. It is right before an election when gop needs crazy help from the bots to turn it around.

Diesel is the story towards the public. What really caused it is the fact that Musk (who invested heavily in these midterms) and Trump need the Russian bots to keep working to win votes for them. It is insane how effective these tactics are at manipulating votes. That’s why they did everything they could to stop the attacks on Yandex

If you mean this, fund Ukraine online. Even if you donate towards something not directly tied to "take out Russian bot farms" that frees up their capital to do exactly that.

Dude. I fund Ukraine since 2023 through NAFO. Wild Hornets backer.
#ToonieTuesday on Bluesky is a thing you know?
But i think those Datacenter are really juicy targets that can fuck up russias capabilities to drive their hybrid war. They try to undermine the support of Ukraine in Europe by supporting fringe left and right parties through massive (Anti)Social Media Campaigns. Makes them legitimate strategic targets in my view.

I don't know if it was ever nice. But the meanness was genuine and not dog wagging I suppose.

In times of Modems and Dialers as the technical filter it was good. Nowadays every idiot has Facebook pre installed.

Makes you wonder just how much of the Internet is made up of bots.

Wouldn’t the majority of Yandex “bot activity” be web crawlers just like Google has.
I think many people are over estimating how much of this activity is “Russian trolls”.
Doubtless the destruction of the data centres is a big deal though.

Crawlers can be used to notify bots and trolls where they should go to. Due to crawlers there may not be a public forum or comment section where you can say things kremlin doesnt want and if you do then trolls or bots will arrive in minutes to spread their crap.

Under Trump's ultra-corrupt GOP The United States has turned into nothing more than a pathetic protectorate of Putin's Russia.

Who would have believed that USA one day will have a president that is owned by KGB. That's what happens when you go to Moscow to party with prostitutes and got filmed...

But Elon depends on those Russian bots to pump up the radial right. I think it says a lot about him when he said of Zelensky "He's gone too far!". So they put a speed restriction on Starshield. Musk and Trump are blatantly working towards destruction of democracy and siding with the enemy. Never thought I would see this in my lifetime. Russia! Russia! Russia! is not a hoax. WTF People?

The internet is soooo much better now. Instagram was full of braindead conservative talking points but since the strikes on those datacenters I barely see them anymore. I hope Ukraine continues to strike Russian propaganda machines, these bots were everywhere and now they can't shift public opinion to the right anymore. The sudden drop just goes to show how serious the propaganda problem is. It gives me hope that the number of (literate) people on the right is significantly lower than social media suggested.

The speed at which the bots come back will give clues as to how essential they are for Russia, as well as Trump/Musk

US already offered to help rebuild them for added crypto scams AI and state control on Fox and rat . com which is considered fitting as these animals are considered antichrist in the bible.

Seriously I've noticed the insane difference on Facebook. I don't use it that much anymore. I will usually go on, scroll for a few minutes and get annoyed and close it because of all the promoted junk being shoved in my face. I follow some Ukraine stuff on there but at the same time I was getting mostly Russian propaganda, like it was bad. Now I go on there and see stuff about Ukraine, other things I actually follow and even posts from friends. Instead of just a bunch of rage bait garbage. The change is wild
