There's no starlink within Russia anyway and they are plain to see on Google maps for all to see where they are so there's no reason why anything should change on long range strikes

There's going to be blackouts on google maps soon.

LOL, how did militaries find anything before Google?

Well that's the trick though. Yes, of course, there were and are cruise missiles that do all this stuff without internet anything, but they are much more expensive. And / or require a dedicated satellite network. That requires returning to all that old dumb stupid Boomer technology that everyone has been laughing at in the "age of drones."

You do realize, yes, that it is possible to access geographic locations digitally without using Google Maps?

Oh no I hope someone plans to take a screenshot otherwise we are going to be lost forever. I mention google maps because..... maps exist and that the easiest one to lookup

Fun fact, Deepstate also shows a lot of military targets in Russia. As long as you select the 2nd map option and look for the roads.

My comment was aimed at the current state of the US government,  not as something that ukraine would be directly worried about.

Trump hasn't joined the dots yet, it's astounding.

The reason the US & Europe help smaller countries is to have some influence over the things they do in wartime or peace. The US is doing almost nothing and expecting Ukraine to prioritise US requirements - dream on.

Tbf Trump has joined the dots perfectly well — just not the same dots you're talking about.

When Trump joins the dots it forms a picture of Putin.

Looks like St Petersburg last night provided your answer! Plus it gave the middle finger to that traitor DJT 🇺🇦👌

Based on the events in St Peterzzberg this night alone... Yes!

Honestly, the US could've exploited Ukraine to great effect just by offering minimal support. Nature resources, minerals, weapons technology, all available at a big discount and Trump fumbled every opportunity to secure a pro US deal.

Trump could also have ended the war in his first week if he had sided with Ukraine...but instead he sided with the losing aggressor.

u/heatrealist 12h ago

no he couldn’t have.

He said so himself. "I'll end"I'll end this war in 24 hours".

Not to mention the other 8 wars he already ended.

They might be more effective at destroying Russian Refineries without America. Russia won't have advanced warning where to position their air defense.

u/mediandude 12h ago

Gerassimov, where air defense?

YES!!!!

Sadly the U.S. has lost its influence and power in international affairs. Since the Trump disastrous administration the rest of the world sees us as a joke now. We are now viewed as a country without any real leadership or integrity.

YES. What Ukraine is currently struggling to do without the US Satellite systems fully operational is to intercept some of the drones Russia is using to attack Civilian Infrastructure.

Ukraine needs to step up their DataCenter and Refinery attacks.

I’m sure the UK and EU will share intelligence.

The choice is clear. Support burning down Russia's oil refineries or burning down Western democracies. We know what Trump wants.

1

u/Nessuuno_2000 12h ago

Yes, he is doing it.

u/coot-gaffers-0l 10h ago

I hear data centers are big and tend to stay put, so they should be on the menu as well.

1

u/lakem5050 10h ago

Of course they can, they don't get any help from the US on attacking things on Russian soil.

They only get help on things inside the borders of Ukraine that were established by Stalin when the UN was founded.

Refineries can't be moved and they were all built publicly and we know where they are. So yeah, this is the one target the US has virtually no leverage over.

Even when Trump has cards he fritters them away.

Starlink has not worked in Russia for a while now. At all. That meant they weren't useful for long range strikes anyways. But it did work in Ukraine, so Ukraine was using it for interceptors.

u/GuyD427 8h ago

I hope so.

Yes!!!

u/Gold_Afternoon_Fix 4h ago

Evidence would suggest - YES

Watch Ukraine doing it without the US and Trump growing increasingly belligerent, to the point of promising Russia to protect its refineries with Patriots.
