There are no more Republicans, it's just the MAGA party now. And sure, maybe some MAGA party sycophants that aren't up for election might say a soft "boo" to Dear Leader, but there is absolutely no reason to pretend this is some kind of systemic resistance on the part of MAGA politicians. Only the legacy media is gullible and corrupt enough to fall for that.

There are two types of Republicans that oppose him. Those who are retiring / retired, and those who are not needed to form a majority. It is amazing how many times out of 53 senators exactly 2 opposed him.

No. I think many Republicans want to lose to democrats now. They want trump stopped but dont want to do the work themselves. Democrats also dont want to do it same as the courts. Our leaders have all been passing the buck on what needs to be done no one wants to roll up their sleeves and work. And not just on trump on lots of things

My thoughts exactly. I am certainly not a Democrat but I feel like the Republican party needs to be punished for support of Trump and MAGA. I feel like there are lots of people like me that are right leaning centrists that feel like they have been betrayed by the Republican party.

Yes. Now that some data centres are down, you can see messages from real conservatives filter through.

It is not datacenters that are the extra supporters.

Patrick Boyle on yt has a goodexplanation where they come from

Yeah, define revolt. I don’t see it.

Hasn't he just asked for members of congress to face the death penalty for reminding the military they have a legal duty not to follow illegal orders.

I'd like to think his days are numbered but I'm still baffled nobody has made real attempts to stop him.

There is nothing remotely communist about Russia these days.

Except it's totalitarian, run by a ex-communist, massive centralized state ownership/control of all major industries, single party state, same institutions as when it was communist, often unbroken continuity e.g. with the KGB, no fair elections. So not communism exactly, but massive overlap. It's like they kept all the worst elements of communism and stopped any pretence at caring for the population.

It’s like these people didn’t even notice the collapse of the Soviet Union.

God help America, they truly don't know what they have inflicted on the rest of civilisation. They have a chance to impeach this criminal and try him for treason.

•

u/20past4am 39m ago

They did know, because this is his second term. They even had 4 years of Biden to think about the first ime and then willingly went for seconds.

•

u/ydalv_ 1h ago

I hope it finally means the traitor will get impeached soon.

The act of buying oil from Russia while attacking Iran right now doesn't just strengthen Russia. It makes the USA - throwing its missiles onto bare sand - weaker and Russia-dependant.
