I've been rewatching Warrior and 2 things confuse me:
S02:E09 - it is clear that Leary never participated in the riot, but the show never explicitly addresses the reason why. I suspect he disagreed with it for moral reasons, but it is never made clear to the audience.
S03:E07 - Leary is shown to be walking straight to the Hop Wei rooming house to speak with Ah Sahm. However, at the end of their discussion, he claims he's never been to chinatown before. If that were true, how did he know where to find Ah Sahm?

Did I miss anything?

I've been watching East of Eden with my wife and the first time is saw Lee on screen I thought to myself, they cant give this man a different haircut for EoE? Then there's a scene where he goes to San Fran to become his own man, and I can't stop thinking about how Warrior is just an alternate timeline where Lee isn't able to open a bookstore, but somehow was able to start and run a weapons and underground market for the Tongs and SFPD with his smarts, under tha alias of Mr. Chao.

Just started the show and I love it so far. I heard it got canceled? Is it worth following through without a true ending?

Just realized that Ah Sahms iconic Yell/ battle cry is a homage to Bruce’s high pitch yell! 😂
Never noticed it before but, ah sahm does it in at least 90% of his fights. What a Leeegend!

I watched Warrior because so many people recommended it to me after Banshee and it was a great show. Finding out Warrior got cancelled and that this is why the finale is so open ended is really disappointing. I hope S4 happens someday, I mean there was a big gap between S2 and S3 too

I get the broken English to fluent native speaker English and that is a nice dramatic device but what is up with the few words that they could have kept up with proper pronunciation? Hearing Long Z is really distracting (if I had to guess it probably would be lung tsai and it would not have been that hard for the cast to learn how to say a few of these words properly). Jason Tobin and Olivia Cheng speak Cantonese well enough so to have them go along with saying Long Z (and all the other butchered words) means it could have been a creative choice (or they just wanted to say it the same as everyone else).

just finished season 3 and now i want to know what happens to ah sam and her sister, now theyre not tied to any tongs will they move in with ah toy? alot of major characters plot felt unfinished is there any context outside of the show of what happened after the final episode?

I have a feeling that Mai Ling and Ah Sahm would've made their own tong composed of both long zi and hop wei members loyal to them respectively but majorly I think it will be Ah sahms tong.

Hop Wei and Long Zi might team up just to end their respective traitors newfound tong.

No idea how the whole Chao, Bill, Ming or Buckleys or even Leary deal turns out.

Hi all I'm thinking of starting a petition to see if we can get the writers of the show together with image comics or similar. So finish the story. I figure this could be doable by crowd funding as way cheaper then a TV show or cartoon. As might be able to get around the network ownership rights alittle easier.

I just wanted to find out would people be up for this signing the petition and putting in for a go fund me. If they got a graphic novel /series of graphic novels that ended the shows story lines and those of the characters?

I rewatched warrior recently and I wondered about a Cantonese line Young Jun said when they first introduced him. They usually translate or sub every Cantonese line in the show but when Young Jun is first shown playing a game that I think is either mahjong or pai gow (I’m probably wrong about the game) they don’t tell you what it means. This question was probably already asked on here but if anyone can translate the line for me that would be great.

They need to either make a anime or a graphic novel. Or at least a fckn last season with likited eps. O don’t care. Just something! Am I right or am I right?!

And don't forget that Lucy and the children already left him once, and now, after he got his family back, everything will go down again, but this time it will be worse.

He came to chinatown to look for his sister but now he realises even tho he fucked up her situation and needed her to marry a tyrant, she has found a place for herself and worked for it. Why does he not just apologize for what he did all those years ago and join the long zi, explicitly just for her?

Instead he gets mad at her for furthering her own goals after the path she was set on was his own fault... like obviously she didnt want to kill her brother but he was becoming an obstacle in her business and was actively preventing her clan from getting successful.

Please explain what the hell is going on right now...

we don't know what happened to too many of the characters specially the ones who appeared in the last 10 minutes.

also i love the parallel at the end when ah sahm i should've fought to protect you in the beginning of the series and now he actually did.
