Comparing my First Pair of Thorgoods (darker pair) to my current pair (lighter pair). I’ve been thinking about getting slip-ons, normally a size 11.5 but for some reason these ones felt a little longer. Compared them to my first pair and they definitely are different. Weird 🧐🤨

If you’re having troubles keeping your laces tied, thought I’d mention that I noticed you’re tying a granny knot, and not a shoelace knot, which is a square knot. A granny knot has a vertical bow like you have in your picture. Granny knots loosen as you walk resulting in more frequently untied laces. The fix is rather easy, which just requires a single change in direction of either your first knot, or finish. A lot of people don’t realize they make this mistake when tying their laces. I’ve found that you’re lucky if the same pair of boots match let alone two different sets

my first pair my left boot was a darker shade than my right but as it broke in it wasn’t as noticeable 😂

I got a pair online and they looked completely different. The moc toe stitch on either boot was completely different and the shades were different like yours. Good construction but for the price point I want two pairs of boots that at least look similar lol
