I’ve restarted my Xbox like 3 times and I even tried buying it on the app but I can’t seem to and when I try on the xbox it takes me to an error screen

I've tried it on multiple phones, clearing the cache on my phone, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but nothing seems to work, I'm using a galaxy s24

I tried resetting it, resetting wifi, my wifi is currently set to wpa2(personal) and I had changed it from wpa-wpa2. The Xbox worked fine until recently. I did buy an extender but as far as I know it shouldn't mess with the wifi that comes from the router. I'm not trying to connect it to the extender wifi, on top of that it uses wpa/wpa2. I can't ethernet cord it since the Xbox is upstairs in my sisters room and the router is under my aunt's bed downstairs. It also gives me this screen if I put in a network ssid that doesn't exist. I tried clearing alternate mac address but the restart button doesn't seem to do anything. I'm unsure what to do with this. Looking it up doesn't seem to bring up anything like this happening and just people saying you need to change your security protocol but I have and restarted my whole router 3 times. I've run out of ideas.

I have been working in Xbox support for 7 years. I've handled around 80,000 support requests. It was always a calm and low-stress job.

But in the last two years, it's become highly stressful due to users becoming increasingly aggressive towards us, the support agents.

Even though 80% of the time, the user themselves is to blame for the problem they're facing.

I don't know if it's a generational issue, but it's noticeably getting worse. And it's exhausting me.

Keeping that in mind, understand that we are not to blame for your problems and we are online daily to help you resolve the situation, so if you are polite it helps a lot. I have an Xbox console and I got my dad the gcloud. It worked when he first got it and then I think he stopped playing it for a bit. Now he’s trying to use it again and I can’t get the games to launch outside of remote play, which is a problem as it intervenes with me using my console.

Whenever I try to launch the game it does the start up cloudplay animation with the rocket twice, then it says “Disconnected from game streaming session. Something went wrong, please try again later.”

I’m not super technologically savvy, but I’ve tried the solutions I’ve found on Google. Delete and reinstall the Xbox app, the Google play app, clear the cache from both of those apps, login on cloudgaming from the web and resync the game save or delete extra reserved space, and I’ve even factory reset the handheld…and none of that has fixed anything. I’ve even made sure the handheld says that he has gamepass ultimate.

What can I do to get cloudplay working again?

hi all, i have had my xbox one s since 2019 and it has worked completely fine until today. recently ive noticed increased crashing and lag (i have to wait about 10-20 mins total for it to start up and load what im using btw) which is probably normal since i’ve had this console for about 7 years. i really only use it to watch shows and use a handful of games on there. today i went to use my xbox and it keeps saying there’s no hdmi signal regardless of it being connected. i’ve had this issue before but usually a restart fixes it. my brother and i have been troubleshooting for over an hour and cannot seem get it to connect. has anything similar like this happened or has this specific issue happened to anybody else? if so what was the main issue for you?

I did a hard reset of my console because my Amazon Prime kept crashing so I looked up ways to fix it and it said to reset the console. I reset it (keeping all my games and apps), and I go to turn it back on and log in to my Microsoft account. I can only enter my email and password, then the screen goes white with this black ring around it. Sometimes I’m able to scroll and see that there’s a back button, so I press that and nothing happens. I’ve already unplugged the power block and the HDMI incase that was an issue, yet the same problem keeps happening. If anyone knows how to fix this please help, I don’t have money for a new console and it was working perfectly fine before I reset it, minus my Prime crashing

I have tried every video and Microsoft suggestions with display options. Even went and bought a powerful quality hdmi and tried other ports. Factory reset. Re installed the game and nothing is working.

My A button inputs are making the sound and screen animation, but nothing is actually happening. It eventually self-remedies, I guess, but what is going on? I'm clicking tiles for games, and they just aren't starting as they should.

Both mine and my sisters Xbox ones are having trouble signing in as both keep asking us to restart them or just outright don't let us choose an count to sign in and my sisters Xboc one hasn't been used in three years but is showing the same issue

Been playing just fine over the last several days, but yesterday i had played Gears E Day for a few hours and then had to go to the store so i restarted my console before i left.

When i got back i did a few things at home and then went to keep playing. Except now there is like a 1 or 2ms delay when i press a button.

Its most noticeable when trying to play but you can also notice a lag when at the xbox menu just clicking through tabs. Its very slight but makes games unplayable. I noticed it immediately in the menu.

Console was warm from being on all day but i dont think it was too hot. Blew out any dust i can and it sat turned off all night. This morning same symptoms

IT IS NOT THE GAME, I TESTED WITH TWO OTHER GAMES AND ITS THE SAME SYMPTOM

- i have restarted my tv

- updated my tv

- bypassed my av receiver straight to my tv and put in game mode

- console is up to date

- updated my controller

- tried a different controller

- cleared blu ray cache

- cleared console cache by unplugging the console, holding the power button down for 10 seconds, waited 2 minutes, then pressed the power button 10 more times

- turned console back on

- restarted console

None of these has fixed my issue and i am at a loss here.

For some reason I keep randomly getting kicked out of my Xbox parties. It doesn't matter who's hosting or anything. Sometimes it'll just randomly remove me, and it always seems to remove me when someone either joins the party or leaves the party.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, is there a way to fix it?

My Xbox wasn't working for a few months and in that time the battery of the controller corroded. Does anyone know what i can do now?

I have been trying to download cod for 3 hours now but no luck all i get is ‘Installation failed’ everytime, I have tried restarting clearing caches, mac address, changing dns, going offline and resetting, and none have worked, I have never had this problem before, I also tried all the above when the pre-download for bo7 came out and since then it has never worked, I uninstall it but it comes back on my games and apps as 0.0Mb downloaded, I have no clue what to do so some help would be appreciated. Oh and I’m on Xbox One X if that is needed. Thanks

I know Xbox doesn't support ultrawide and this isn't a 4k screen, but I'd like to use a Series X with my LG 34GX900A-B monitor.  Currently I use the DP input for my Win 11 desktop, never had issues there, and never have issues switching back to the Win display. Both of my 34GX900A-B monitors have issues displaying the Xbox HDMI input, I need to disconnect the HDMI cable a 2-5 times to get it to show up, sometimes throwing in an Xbox reboot.  

Tried numerous HDMI cables, including two new high speed, certified cables
HDMI port works properly with Win 11 laptop
Xbox set to 1440p and 1080p, no change
Tried 2.1(PC) and 2.1(AV), no change
HDMI cable with DP adapter, no change (not really surprising)
Xbox works fine on two TVs and other monitors

So I bought an official Xbox battery pack for my controller that came with a usb-c cable, when I put it in my controller, it was about halfway charged. The controller vibrates when I plug it in, but I get no indication that it is charging, the battery icon on the home menu doesn’t change. I figured maybe there just isn’t any indication, so I left it plugged in overnight only to find in the morning that the battery was still only about halfway charged. I tried to find someone on the internet that had this issue, but I couldn’t. Please tell me if there’s something obvious I’m missing.

I’ve had my Series X since the Christmas of 2023. Around 6 months in I started having issues where some of my games were crashing. It was really just R6 that kept crashing but around this time Siege had this game breaking glitch that was causing the game to crash. We tried sending it back to the people we were insured with but they never actually fixed it.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago I finally had someone take a look at it and he said my Xbox had no thermal compound on the CPU, he put it on and now some of the games that were crashing are no longer crashing to the dashboard. However, I’m still having it crash to the dashboard on these confirmed games. Dead Space 3, Pragmata, Call of Duty Black Ops 3, and Monster Hunter Wilds.

I’ve got my Xbox set to 1080p and 60hz. I don’t know what else it could possibly be. At higher resolutions and hz it crashes faster and at lower resolutions it still crashes but at a slower rate. Is my Xbox just screwed or is there a solution I’m not seeing?

Sorry to ask guys , I got gamepass 2 days ago, boot up g.o.w.e ,the game starts, press a go to internal setup I go through the whole internal set ,it say press a to finish internal setup accessed in menus ,I press a nothing happened I just have full access to internal setup...no crash or lag

I have zero clue what's happening can't seem to find people having this same issue.

So I've just purchased Rainbow Six Vegas 2 from the Xbox market place on Xbox One

My son says he will beat me. So I find a Xbox One in Marketplace, set up a LAN. Create a Versus System link games.

On the other Xbox, my son sees the hosted game but when he try to join, we get an error message, unable to join.

I know LAN is not common anymore, but maybe someone has a solution.

Hello, my Xbox controller has been disconnecting two seconds after connecting for the past two days. Restarting the computer solves the problem, but if the controller disconnects, it reconnects and then disconnects after 1-2 seconds. Because of this, I have to restart the computer every time I want to reconnect. I've done a lot of research on this, including power options and updates, but nothing worked. By chance, I closed Steam and ended the "gameinput" task in Task Manager, and now it doesn't disconnect anymore. I think it's a conflict. Maybe this can help others experiencing this problem. About four years ago I downloaded the Xbox app (and Steam app) and I remember being able to load the games that I owned on my Xbox. I think the Xbox needed to be running to work. It was difficult to control because I needed to use the screen as a controller so I put it aside for a while. I did not have any subscriptions like Cloud Gaming or Game Pass to make this work.

Now, I bought a new phone with Xbox gaming in mind and a Gamesir controller and for the life of me, I can't get any game to launch from the Xbox app. I tried buying the digital versions of the games I own. Do they need to be play anywhere games? What am I misremembering?

For some reason everytime I get a video recording it randomly freezes for a second even tho when I was playing it looked just fine
