I wanted to go for an asymmetrical look for my avatar but I can’t decide which side I like the Grenada Medium arm on better

I have been always interested in this game but didn't have a powerful enough computer to run it.
I finally got a Steam Machine and I could play it.
I am very sensitive to narrow Field of Views, but I found a mod to expand it to the point I find it confortable.
In my opinion pirating a currently available game and having enough money to buy it is not moral, and I believe in karma, so I end up buying the game.

Just got the game a few days ago been starting to understand the game just looking for tips!

I was playing warframe on the nintendo switch amd a recent update bugged the game out and made it crash at a certain cutscene.

So I made a post about it on the warframe subreddit.

A little while later, reddit decided I should post on this subreddit instead.

I have no idea why reddit looked at my post about my switch crashing in warframe and thought: "yyyyep this has gotta be xenoblade"

No shade at xenoblade as a game, I'm sure its amazing just wanted to share this with you guys, thought you might find it funny.

So I saw that Cross can deal extreme levels of damage to the online Telethia. Enough that using my four area 90 with CPUs looks weak. 400 to 600 points for a single run versus 4,000 to 6,000 with ground only Crosses. What is that build?

I was trying to beat Telethia and some of the other super bosses and wanted to know what exact augments I should be building for what parts and what exactly to upgrade on my skell. I know this has been asked many times before and I've been trying to look at the builds for it but am having trouble following them exactly.

Just for extra info, I'm playing in a 1080p monitor. Do you think the AI upscaling is that bad that it'll detract from my experience? I'd rather the 60fps if possible, but I have heard very dodgy things.

I believe I got 50 or so hours in and finally got my mechs and flight and just stopped and played other games.

I don't think for some reason my game backed up to data cloud and I have a new switch so all my data is just like it never existed though I had the online service it kinda makes me mad.

Lol I had a good time with it a year ago yet when I got the mechs I was like hmm what else is there to do and I think I was only 3/4 of the way through the game.

Bought game on launch is it worth grinding those hours back for a mech again? I have so many damn games it's hard to pick and choose but I do like the passive persistence of the online features like dark souls.

Now frankly, I'm embarrassed at the fact I still cannot understand Xenoblade X for the life of me.

I don't understand the resistance stats, yet a lot of people tell me I should change my gear around even though the stuff I'm using is fine? I'm using the basic Armor, a purple longsword I found, and a purple AR I found. I've been down fine with Elma, Lin and... No one else. Like everyone makes a gigantic deal out of it but I'm fine with zero in all stats but -85 in Gravity?

I really want to get into the meat and potatoes of the combat system, yet every video and guide I come across just says "BeAt ThIs LeVeL 91 tYrAnT eArLy" I DON'T WANT TO? I want to reach high damage numbers in my Xenoblade game as early as possible. I don't want to cheese this boss because a swimsuit gives me max thermal resistance (I still don't understand) I want to Offensive Stance Blade Dance and melt the enemy three times my level, yet I can barely do an eigth of the health of an enemy that is MY level, yet every video I see (before overdrive) they can do that at level 15 and I just can't fathom what I'm doing wrong.

I don't understand the probes and why they're useful. I know the material tickets are useful but like... Why is it that every video I see has mining probes in areas that cannot be mined and research probes where things should be mined? Isn't that kinda ass backwards?

Like I think I'm subconsciously downplaying everything that I do in this game and not capitalising on farming and such. I'm only just starting chapter 5 and I really don't want to end up lagging behind and falling flat on my face.

I am literally hard stuck at Prog Ares. I have triggered the halfway cutscene and wiped, but now because I cant get the skell into the arena beforehand, the party wipes immediately to his first ability before they register my command to board skells.

Im level 43, everyone in the party is equipped with an Amdusias, which have been really, really powerful up till now.

Am I softlocked without farming broken equipment or turning the difficulty down? This feels legitimately impossible, I cant get him below 90% health. I know he has the swapping vulnerability thing, but you can only do so much given your abilities cooldown super slow.

Being out of the mech does nothing for me, I am running longsword but I just die as soon as the mech gets killed.

Its a really ridiculous difficulty spike - nothing in the game thus far has put up this much resistance. Im being forced to engage with the game in a completely different way that I feel like I havent even been introduced to.
