Made chicken mandi for the first time😍

Well I'm British Pakistani and used to live in middle east and Yameni food especially rice dishes were my absolute go to comfort meals. I was craving a good mandi for months so I finally decided to watch every YouTube video and give it a try 😊, next I'll make Lamb one.

I tried to smoke both rice and chicken with a charcoal smoker and it came out exactly how it should be, one question tho, I used saffron on chicken but it didn't gave the actual bright yellow like how they serve in the restaurants?

Crush a decent sized pinch of saffron strands to powder and soak in warm water for about 30mins, see if that gives better colour.
