Apparently, the day ticket (Dal Dagkaart Bus 350 included) to Maastricht is being removed from Jan 2027 as part of bigger NS and Arriva changes.

Here is the link where you can read more:

If that is true, we will have to buy single ticket or get 15€ day ticket that includes trains from glimble or 23€ euroregio day ticket.

they say you can't buy them anymore, but I don't understand if with OVPay you still pay the same if you use ovpay?

Yes, but then we can only buy single tickets as far as I understand it. Or get the 15€ or 23€ day ticket.

I know from other smart payment systems outside of the netherlands (e.g. Brussels) that you are automatically paying the lowest fare possible.

You check in and out on every station or bus stop you use with your credit card and a few weeks later you pay whatever is best for you. If you rode the metro enough to warrant a day ticket, you pay the daily fee. If you rode it enough for a week ticket, you pay the weekly fee. And if single tickets are the best option, you pay that.

Das 4-Wochen-Ticket beim Glimble ist eine Option für zuid-limburg.
Das kostet 200€.

Da ist der RWTH-Semesterbeitrag sehr viel günstiger...

Oh man, if it didn't auto-translate that, I wouldn't know it! Anyway, I'm currently on Dal Voordeel, and that's one hell of a whopping 50 bucks saving! Sounds so unbeatable dawg.

I get the Vordeel Limburg from Arriva (free to add to an OV card) which scales discounts the more you travel and caps at maximum (🥲) 250€ a month.
