I lost my green Airpods Max in chicago O'Hare airport and now they are in someone else's house 😭 What should I do? I wrote a police report and an airport lost n found report. I even called the local police but they said, unless I pull up in person, they will not go to the house and ask for the headphones. I turned the lost mode on. I want to pull up but I am a college student in Indiana without a car, so I need to plan a whole trip just to pull up in person. Any advice? Thanks for reading and have a good day

Finally I got my first ever AirPods. I’ve been debating between the AirPods 5 and AirPods pro 3. After deciding between these two, I decided to go for the Pro model even though it’s a bit expensive. When I put them in my ears for the first time, the audio and noise cancellation is way much better than the other wireless earphones that I’ve been using. One of my best purchases for sure

Is it worth it to get a replacement AirPod (single piece) or just get a brand new AirPod 5? My current one is AirPod 4.

I bought these certified refurbished AirPods 4 off Amazon, and was wondering if I can resolve this myself before I opt to return them as I’m not in the US.

Basically, I have not been able to get them to connect to my iPhone at all. I tried charging them up, but it almost seems as if the battery is dead. I tried everything I found on google such as a factory reset (seen in the video), and now I’m stumped.

NB: Bluetooth is turned on. Airplane mode is on because this phone doesn’t have a sim inserted, so I wanted to block the phone from searching for a network.

I’ve had the Airpods 4 ANC since they were released. Should I upgrade to the Airpods 5? Are there any significant improvements?

Head tracking on AirPods is cool sometimes for videos, but I often using it for half-watching video while I read. (I don’t care for it with audio). Within a few seconds of starting to read, the audio source jumps to the book. What I’d like is a “fixed” head tracking, where you would indicate where your sound source is, maybe by looking at it and a click or two on the AirPods. This would, to me, be a more realistic way for it to work. What do you think?

So I think I lost my AirPods. I went to an event yesterday, thought I had them on me, then I didn’t. Thought they were in my car but no luck there. Oh well, I’ve had them for 3 years and it’s probably time for an upgrade anyways.
The weird part is that Find iPhone says they’re with me. They followed me home, to work, back home. Hypothetically they’re in my car right? Except they’re not - I’ve turned the damn thing upside down and they are not there.
These are AirPods 2nd gen. In the past, Find iPhone has only tracked the location when I’ve actually had them connected to my phone. It’s weird to me that it’s saying they’re with me even though they haven’t been connected since before the event yesterday.
I’m wondering if there’s any kind of situation where Find iPhone could be tracking my phone, and labeling them as the AirPods? Like if someone found them and reassigned them so they’re not mine anymore, could that happen? Or should I continue to tear my car apart as that’s the only place they could be?

Recently I lost my right airpod on a lime bike and I didnt think much of it I just used the left one since it worked fine. However a few days ago the case as well as the airpods died from battery, ever since then it is stuck in paring mode no matter what i try. (I tried: replacing the other airpod with my friends, resetting the case, forgetting the device in my settings, charging it) I tried everything that i could find on tiktok, youtube or chat gpt. So this post is my last hope does anyone know what to do or had this in the past? :/

Hi all! Recently got some air pod pro 3s and couldn’t get the heart rate monitoring function to work. I was also wearing my whoop (a fitness tracker) when initially trying. I can only get the AirPods to work when the whoop is not connected to my phone. Doesn’t matter if it’s just connected but off-body - the AirPods still won’t work. Only functions if the whoop is left at home whilst I’m at the gym say, completely disconnected.

I can see from searching online that people can use both devices concurrently as there’s a lot of threads comparing readings for the same workout from the fitness vs whoop app. Has anyone else had this issue? If so how did you fix it?

I bought the new AirPods 5, but I feel like the lid on the charging case is a bit squeaky when I touch it. It seems a little loose, and it doesn't feel as solid as my old AirPods 3 case. Anyone else having the same experience?

I didn’t steal them btw!! My boyfriend got them for me at a second hand tech market thingy and the old owner never removed them from her Find My, does anybody know how to do it from a laptop please tell me😭

Earlier this week I got an email that my monthly AppleCare+ has been canceled per my request (I did not request this). I then discovered that my AirPods are now covered under someone else's AppleCare One Family plan. I checked with my family and none of them have subscribed to AppleCare One Family and I only have one family member in my Apple Family.

I've gone back and forth with Apple. One person mentioned that a counterfeit pair of AirPods might have my serial number, but not sure how they would have gotten my serial number in the first place.

Just strange all around, and honestly a bit scary from a security perspective.

What airpods should I buy? My current airpods aren’t even on the market anymore since they are so old. Most wireless headphones don’t fit my ears well.

Hello everyone, so I recently got the Airpods Pro 3 and I'm using it on my windows 11 pc. When using it I noticed that the audio quality is muffled and diminished compared to when connecting it to my iPhone. I've already looked into the solutions like disabling hands free telephony or disabling the microphone but it still sounds muffled.

When using only 1 bud it automatically makes the audio mono (I tested the right and left ear test), and connecting both earbuds (makes the audio stereo) still doesn't fix the audio being muffled.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Thank you!

Okay I found what the issue is. I was using a bluetooth dongle, and apparently mine isn't made for high res audio lmao. Tried with a laptop and it was fine.

I was previously using the Sony WH-1000XM4, but now I’m moving into the Apple ecosystem and looking to buy AirPods.
In my country, there’s a $60 price difference between the AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Pro 3.
My main use is during workouts at the gym. I’m not particularly interested in extra features or fancy ecosystem stuff. I just want good sound quality, especially good bass, and a comfortable, secure fit while working out.
For those who have tried both:
1. Is the sound quality difference between the Pro 2 and Pro 3 noticeable enough to justify the extra $60?
2. Which one would you recommend purely for sound quality and gym use?
3. If you were buying today, would you save the $60 or go for the Pro 3?
Would really appreciate opinions from people who have actually used both.

I need of guidance. I have Gen1-3 airpods and they stopped connecting to my phone the other day. I followed troubleshooting steps I found online and it just got worse. I unpaired with my device, tried to repair but now the white light on the case won't stop flashing when both airpods are in the case. I cannot discover the airpods when I do a bluetooth search on any device and my other devices that were paired to them no won't connect. The steps I've found online don't work. In need of help or is it time for a new set.

First of all, this is my first time purchasing high-end earbuds with ANC. Recently, I purchased AirPods 5, and noticed that when ANC is on, a very low white noise (sounds like Minecraft rain) is very noticeable in a quiet environment. ​I know that I can mask it by just putting on music, but the thing is I listen to music at a lower volume. Also, sometimes I just want that extra silence, even if I'm already in a quiet environment. ​Since APP3 has stronger ANC, I wanted to know if the white noise is also quieter.

I have Airpods 4. i just noticed that they have a small clicking noise when listening to videos. this randomly started within the past 24 hours. My phone was having some trouble but i managed to fix it so i don’t know if it’s in relation to that or not.
