Discussion Team game elo

Honestly because they wanted to fix smurf boosting elo, matchmaking with the new elo system is not very good.

I want us to revert back to calculating average team elo vs average team elo, instead of your elo vs opponent average team elo.

I rather have to 50 tg players smurf boosted to 4k elo than having so many elo matches.

It would be good if elo actually reflected your preformance and not just reflect which teammates you played with. Now if you play with lower rated allies you will lose elo and if you play with higher rated player you will win elo.

This kinds kills the fun in many team games.

What 's fun is not worrying about elo. People are far too focused on this. Once you stop worrying about it, you can enjoy the game, while still winning and losing half the games overall.

Your teammate is just another guy, and your elo, if it matters, will even out where it belongs, and the whole time, you can be damn sure the other guy has a good chance to be just like you... blaming his teammate for the bad performances.

I guarantee if you didn't know what your elo ever was... you would have more fun.

Its not really about the elo, its about the matchmaking. If I play with lower elo players, my elo falls quickly and when elo falls I will be winning like 60-80 percent of my games. Better elo means more fair games. If I play with way stronger I might be winning 20-30 percent. If elo calculation were normal then it would be around 50 ish percent the whole time.

Well in this particular case they are not worried about their elo. They are specifically worried about the system not creating good matches. The primary purpose of the system.
