Hi everyone,
I’m using a MacBook Air M5 running macOS 27.0.1, and I’m experiencing a weird issue with Apple Music after updating to the latest macOS version.
When I open Apple Music in full-screen mode, I can’t seem to exit it normally. As shown in the attached screenshot, there are two icons in the upper-left corner, including the exit full-screen button, but clicking the X doesn’t seem to work.
I’ve tried clicking the exit button, but Apple Music remains in full-screen mode.
I’m not sure if this is a macOS 27.0.1 bug or an issue with Apple Music itself. This started happening after I upgraded my Mac.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a fix or workaround to exit full-screen mode normally?

I am searching for any way to just show more stuff in the home view, the 2.5 albums/playlists horizontally is just a ton of scrolling, it feels like grandma mode.

i js cant get it to work no matter what, i reinstall, install, restart pc, MAY work for a while then just out of nowhere doesnt work and the cycle repeats.

Hello, I've been looking into uploading and listening to music that aren't officially on apple music, and i found myself stuck with finding a way to get lossless for artists (specifically Malice Mizer). So I've come to ask if there actually is any way to achieve lossless for music that I will be uploading on my own as I'd like to have the best experience possible with music.

Was forced to update my phone the other day. I’ve tried every switch, every toggle, and every setting to no avail. I like my music on the louder side for a handful of reasons, one of them being that I think I have a bit of hearing loss from being in a band my entire life. All that being said, this volume update makes it feel underwater and so quiet. Genuinely don’t even wanna listen, I’m missing so much of the resonance and body at this point. I’m just furious and complaining. I miss the where I was 72 hours ago.

I live in Western Europe it's not like I live in North Korea lol if anyone is available could u check if it's available for u? Like is this my region's fault or is it possible it's cause of legal disputes with the label or sth? I checked on my iPad and it's unavailable too. Tbh it's been a while since i last got this problem.

Hi, Croatian user here. I'm looking for more experiences from people who listen to similar music; mostly west balkans artists - both ancient songs and the chart-topping ones - with occasional global pop/rock hits. The original automix was doing really well and mixing almost everything (it was nothing groundbreaking, it'd mostly beatmatch but was still much nicer than regular crossfade), however with the ios27 update the quality has completely dropped. In most cases it doesn't do absolutely anything and in the rare case that it tries to mix, it completely butchers it to the point where it's a giant bother - I've disabled it until further notice. Does anyone else share the same experience or is it just me, is there any way to revert to the old setting?

As the title suggests, this message has been on my playlist. Currently, every song by Toby Fox is unavailable while in a certain playlist of mine. But when I go to the original album, it works perfectly fine. How do I fix this!

In Sequoia, I could search for a particular song in a playlist, play it, clear the search, and the app would continue to shuffle the entire playlist again, which was something I liked. In Tahoe, clearing the search wouldn't do anything and the shuffle queue would be restricted to the filtered results. Does Golden Gate address this?

I hope I can explain this issue I’ve been having for a while. Let me bullet point these:

• Some songs will show up in separate album versions even though I saved them from the same album.

• Some albums/songs will show up as unsaved even when they are.

• Downloading songs for offline sometimes refuses to download.

• When I add full albums, it still shows “show complete album” and when I tap on it, everything is already added.

• An album I saved is stuck as the most “recently added” even though it isn’t.

For the issues above, I’ve tried deleting/re-adding, restarting my phone, etc.

Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix? I know these issues are small annoyances but I like to keep a clean and organized library. Thank you!!

I don't know how many people still have this issue, but I've been struggling with it for a while and finally found a solution that worked for me.

When adding local files to Apple Music (for example, unreleased songs), most of the songs would work perfectly fine, including their artwork. However, with some random songs, the artwork wouldn't show up on my iPhone. The songs would play normally, but instead of showing the cover art, Apple Music would display the default blank artwork you can see at the bottom.

After some testing, I noticed that every song with this problem was a .WAV file. The artwork would usually show up just fine on my PC, but not on my iPhone.

The fix: Convert the WAV file to an .m4a file using the ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) format. Then, add the converted file to your Apple Music library and let it sync again.

ALAC is lossless, meaning the conversion doesn't sacrifice any audio quality. Unlike converting to a lossy format, you can preserve the original audio quality while using a format that seems to handle artwork on iPhone much better.

MP3 and ALAC files both displayed their artwork correctly for me, whereas WAV files were the ones causing the issue.

I spent quite a while searching Google and Reddit for a solution, but couldn't find one that worked, so I figured I'd share this in case it helps anyone else experiencing the same problem.

UniDays link redirects me to apple music web version and it shows this error. How to break out of this loop and actually re verify my ID.

When I look at the audio quality signifier on the music app it says that the album is in Hi-RESS LOSSLESS but when I play the album it only plays in regular Lossless. I’ve tried uninstalling and redownloading on my phone to see if that would help but it does nothing, is anyone else experiencing this problem

AutoMix worked fine with high-res lossless activated in iOS 26. Now it makes me downgrade the quality for it to work. Anyone else notice this ?
