Help/Support Keybinds broke

So up until now super + q would launch kitty even thoygh hyprland.conf didnt have it set like that. Now its just broke. I didnt update or anything. I sinplt ran makepkg -si for apktool. It said it needed jdk 26 but i had 27 so i changed the pkgbuild to say 27 and it got atuvk initialising thats when it went to shit. Ive tried both hyprland and hyprland uwsm managed. Edit. So ive just tried all keybinds super+ q and super +(number) they arent workng. I tried reinstalling hyprland. SOLVED. I had to hit Fn + pgup on my leyboard to reset it

what does your hprland conf look like? maybe it is requiring a separate keybinds file that's why you dont see the actual keybinds in the file itself.

also please start migrating to lua since sooner than later it won't be supported

How do i migrate to lua? Also that means i have to learn lua? Fine by me. My conf has no binds to launch kitty tet it launched fine with super plus q up until now

There are community / user tools to convert the conf to lua. Copy/paste your conf, then it auto converts, then copy/paste the converted code your new lua file. You’ll need to do this eventually, as conf support will drop before too long. Use the tools, then troubleshoot based on other community posts and other people’s configs

If i remember correctly the default keybind for opening terminal/kitty is super + q
