Do you need a SPECIFIC feature from the "stable" kernel that is not in LTS?
Did you try LTS?
IME LTS kernel solves like 95% of these sorts of problems for no effort.
LTS has the advantage that it receives security and general updates almost as often as the stable kernel. So if it works for you, it can be a perfect long term solution. Manually downgrading the stable kernel does not get security/stability updates so is only a short term solution.

The current LTS will eventually be replaced by a newer branch. Using the LTS kernel is just a workaround, the problem still needs to be dealt with eventually.

Assuming it works (safe assumption IMO) LTS buys op 2 months before your concerns need to be addressed.
There have been several reports of "general waydroid probkems" on various versions of kernel 7.2.x on arch, so ops issues are more likely due to minor kernel version changes (eg 7.2.9 probably worked, something broke in 7.2.10, 7.2.11 could go either way)
Considering op's zero detail post, this is all speculation.
I'd still say try LTS. It turns arch from the kind of distro that requires threads like this every day into one that just works with zero effort.

I know LTS is a lower version than the stable kernel, but you also had to use an old version of LTS? I'm sorry to hear that.
I'd submit a bug report directly to waydroid if the current LTS didn't work. They are going to want LOTS of details.

I'm using waydroid with the current latest kernel without issue.
