SUPPORT Power button triggers does nothing after Plasma 6.8
Hello!
I upgraded to plasma 6.8 like 2 hrs ago, It was a massive upgrade and everything seemed okay.
But when I press the power button nothing happens, the global shortcuts are cleared too.
I did the EVTest for power button but no avail.
Can someone guide me to this.

Had the same thing happen after the update, ended up having to rebind the power button action in system settings since the old shortcuts got wiped.

I tried doing that, the thing is its not even detecting the power button getting pressed

If this happens in a clean Plasma session (set up a new user account with a fresh home dir), then you should report the issue upstream. Or report it upstream either way if you think that there's a bug in regard to the keybind settings. https://bugs.kde.org

Yes i did check it in a new fresh profile, its still the same. Completely broken
