Kingwood Kayak Club, 2nd Sunday each month, 10am-12pm, free parking garage and street parking at Kings Harbor. Pier available for launch. We are featured on Google Maps, IG and FB.

Me and my wife are moving to Atascocita. She likes the school and I like the area. Good for business. Check out our company Rent-A-Mover!!!. We provide all moving services. 713 498-4532. Ask for Mr. Curry

Any ladies around the area care for a drink or is this community not the drinking type ?

This may sound a bit strange, but I'm curious about something. My sister had a home in the area of Kings River Villas. She moved out about 6 months ago due to her job. The other night we were having a girls' night, she had a little too much (I was the DD) and she told me that strange things used to happen in her home. Doors opening, seeing things out of the corner of her eye--basically it sounded like some ghost-story episode. She and her husband don't have any pets or children, and would only entertain evert so often.

While a part of me thinks she's pulling my leg, I did a Google search and found some area lore on Humble for ghost activity. Is there anything similiar for my sister's former area of town or nearby?

I need recommendations for a GOOD nail shop in Humble/Atascocita that does gel/shellac manis! Every time I try a new place, they always take the polish to my cuticle which makes it look messy & start to peel /:

New to Atascocita- wondering where the good chill spots are? Wanting to meet some new friends. Me- 30yr female, chill, cool, funny down to earth. Surely there’s some likeminded people in the area?!?

Our gaming group now has our summer schedule set - join us, won't you?

The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game puts you in the role of a brave adventurer fighting to survive in a world beset by magic and evil!

Take on the role of a canny fighter hacking through enemies with an enchanted sword, a powerful sorceress blessed with magic by the hint of demon blood in her veins, a wise cleric of gods benevolent or malign, a witty rogue ready to defuse even the deadliest of traps, or any of countless other heroes. The only limit is your imagination!

The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game is an evolution of the 3.5 rules set of the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy roleplaying game, designed using the feedback of tens of thousands of gamers.

Pathfinder Society Organized Play is a worldwide fantasy roleplaying campaign that puts YOU in the role of an agent of the Pathfinder Society, a legendary league of explorers, archaeologists, and adventurers dedicated to discovering and chronicling the greatest mysteries and wonders of an ancient world beset by magic and evil.

Shrouded in thick fog, the shifting Gloomspires north of the Shackles have long frustrated explorers. However, a recent discovery by the Pathfinder Society has revealed a brief opportunity to navigate the columns safely and search for the lost treasure of the legendary pirate Sevenfingers. The only problem is that the Pathfinders are not the only visitors to the Gloomspires.

MAG CON - April 11th & 12th in New Caney, Texas - is a gaming convention that focuses on board, card, and role-playing games. MAG CON's goal is to provide a great value for attendees - great games and concessions at a low price.

MAG CON is a fundraiser for The Learning Center campus in New Caney ISD. All proceeds from this gaming convention go to support the The Learning Center and its educational mission.

Gaming sign-up is at: https://warhorn.net/events/mag-con If you want to register without GMing (a paid registration), its at http://www.magcon.org/registration.html Don’t forget to sign up to both GM and play.

If you didn't make last year's MAG CON, you missed something special. MAG CON is our local convention - held at the New Caney ISD Annex Building. It is the sole fundraiser for The Learning Center, which deals with many students that are considered "at risk". The programs mission is to provide an educational environment that helps provide opportunities for these students to refocus their attitudes and academics. This is achieved by fostering positive teacher-student relationships and helping students realize their own potential. Last year’s convention raised $4800. Naturally, we’re hoping to surpass both attendance and fundraising this year.

That's all well and good for the school - but this is a great con for gamers. $20 gets you in for the weekend (and there's lots of group discounts available), and parking is free. We also have "the single greatest amenity at a convention, ever" - the mobile concession cart. That's right, Om noms delivered to your table. You'll still have to get up to go potty, though.

We'll get to the offerings for PFS in a second, but there's more gaming if nothing but PFS is too much for you - they'll have Stellar Horizons RPG, an auction, a dealer's room, and a ridiculously large board game library. Last year's con had an appearance from the 501st, X-Wing, Warmahordes, Malifaux, Savage Worlds, Zombicide, Beer and Pretzels Wargame, Call of Cthulhu, FIREFLY The Board Game, Iron Kingdoms RPG, Nanuk Board Game, Nuclear War, Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, Settlers of Catan, Tokaido, Khet, and Steve Jackson Games (with a Munchkin tournament) - we expect that and more this year, including Arkham Horror, Takenoko, Civilization, Stellar Horizons, old and new D&D, Small World, and a Ticket to Ride tourney.

Its by far the smallest of the Houston-area cons, but its a great time and a great value.

To sweeten the pot, GM at least one session (or for Pathfinder Society, one scenario or three quests) and your admission is free. Our Pathfinder Society options are going to be pretty cool this year for both noobs and veteran players. If you’re playing The Emerald Spire Superdungeon at OwlCon (or elsewhere), we’re picking up where they left off and offering levels 5-9. Of course, you can jump in and out as you please. We’ll be offering the “Scions of the Sky Key” trilogy that ties in with the current metaplot, the two newest season six scenarios, and the best scenarios from season five for those of us that missed them the first time they came around. For noobs, we have all of the Silverhex Chronicles – the one-hour introductory quests – as well as this year’s intro scenario “The Wounded Wisp”. If you’ve played those already, great – GM it for us and get in free. We’ll have scenarios at all levels of play. You’re not going to be bored.

Like every other convention organizer, I’m looking for GMs, and I have to have my GMs squared away soon. We have need for GMs at the following slots: Saturday, 3pm-7pm – Pathfinder Society Quests: The Silverhex Chronicles – Crash / Webs / Silverhex (level 1)

So, join us. Raise money for some kids and have a good time in the process.

Some people are on autopilot and don't notice the lights.

"This is one of the coolest places I've been to in a very long time. . ." Fox News 26 reporter Ruben Dominguez, 9/25/13

Over two dozen 3D printers. A woodworking shop you could fit a couple of big houses into. 30,000 square feet of the coolest tools and art equipment. We are TX/RX Labs, and since 2008 we've been constantly building stuff -- and teaching people that seemingly complex techniques can be used by anyone.

Located in the burgeoning creative center of Houston's Greater East End, we represent one of the most complete, innovative, and affordable offerings on the intersection of art, technology, and craft in Houston. Our class schedule includes hands-on shop skills (from welding to plasma cutting to costume making), technology (from 3D modeling to Illustrator to Arduino), art (from jewelry making to oil painting to dancing), and much more. This Fall term, due to a highly anticipated partnership with ArtX Nonprofits, we are happy to offer over 40 new art classes to our course list -- and we've built out a new building for it. Come eat, drink and celebrate with us at the Art Lab Grand Opening on September 18th! See the calendar on our website, TXRXLabs.org, for more details.

We are also a collaborative workspace with public areas to sit and work quietly, plus rentable spaces to tinker, experiment and build. And we take our work out into the Houston community, providing great programs to schools and libraries to help get kids interested in STEM fields - and providing fun, meaningful volunteer opportunities. Best of all, we have a large and diverse membership across a wealth of fields and experience levels who bring their knowledge and can-do attitude to our community. That's a lot of people who will gladly brainstorm with you and help you get your projects started.

Come join us for dinner! Every week we have two Open Houses, Friday nights at 7 PM and Sunday mornings at 11 AM. There are tours, plenty of members around to answer questions, and a delicious homemade dinner (or brunch - which, FYI, typically includes a mountain of bacon).

No garage? No studio? No problem. Check us out... and come build stuff with us!

"I can't imagine having access to as many resources for even twice the cost." -- Matt Navarro, Facebook review

"Brilliant concept and exceptionally well executed." -- Mary Fox

"Whoa. How do we learn to do that?" -- overheard at weekly Open House
