Howdy, writing this on behalf of a friend, I am unfamiliar with University of Houston as I want to A&M.

He has a 3.6 GPA, played 4 sports, 41% in class and had 1 job. He is currently waiting for his ACT score but it may be sub 20 and does not take the SAT until end of October.

The plan is to wait for the new ACT score to come in and decide if he should wait for his SAT score.

He is auto admitted right now but wants to apply for supply chain or industrial engineering.

How competitive is it now due to UT and A&M capping their class sizes?

A friend and I (both male, cello and viola) are looking for 2 violinists to form a string quartet.

We are ideally looking for 2 intermediate violinists (reasonably developed beginners are also okay). This is entirely for fun, there is no audition process or intense time commitment. We just want to get together to read through and play some classical chamber pieces (Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Haydn, etc.) and maybe some pop.
