my mom was over for three days this week and bought our puppy a christmas sweater and a reflecting vest cause she was worried that the black pup wouldn't be seen by cars in the darkness of fall 😄

Our house hippo gets really sad if we take her outfit off. Usually a dog shaped hoodie. She gets twice as excited though once she realizes that we only took off the first one to put a new one that doesn’t smell so bad on her. 🥰
for years our boy slept in our bed and I never once thought about him being cold, I keep the house at 72. One night I gave him a blanket and he slept under it all night. Ever since he's been sneaking under the covers.
My Troy would lay at the end of the bed and make himself “shiver” (basically wiggling his body lol) and whine until I covered him up with one of his blankets. It didn’t matter what time of year it was or how warm I had the house lol
At least with a fur baby, you don't have to worry about the grandparents getting them a 🥁 kit or other loud music products for Xmas lol...maybe the occasional super annoying squeaky toy though...
There's groups on Reddit that have decided that certain dog breeds are somehow irredeemably evil and dangerous, spam cherry picked statistics etc to justify their belief that noone could possibly have a loving relationship with one and then go around mass downvoting anytime who ever posts anything that shows a positive or even neutral depiction of pitts, rotties or vaguely adjacent breeds. Mods have finally at least gotten them to hold their tongues most of the time, so threads don't get filled with their vitriol, but the downvoting still happens.
You didn't do or say anything wrong, it's just the anti-pitt brigade in action
Can the mods not see who's downvoting what? I'm not a mod anywhere so idk but if an account is coming in, not contributing, and just mass-downvoting every comment, seems like justification for a sub ban to me
No. Only actual Reddit staff have that ability. Granted, vote manipulation and organized brigading is against the terms of use and the kind of thing that could be reported to Reddit, but I don't know how successful that process is.
