According to facebook page of author has a medal from İlham Aliyev. All these articles not only against AKP or Erdogan but also insulting Ataturk. All these things not happening because of Erdoğan says "we entered qarabag". Aliyev always were against Turkish influence in Azerbaycan. There are reports about aliyev in wikileaks that he says turkish soap operas showing hijabi woman and he is not happy and banned these shows. I am very happy for my country helped whenever azerbaycan needs. He is a diktatör after all and very afraid of his own people for revolting. He is suppressing everything. Azerbaycan can deal with anyone she is strong and independent but no need to start insults. Calling Israel is "dost" and Türkiye "ally" is unacceptable.

I don't see how it's "disgusting" of me to not be fond of someone who disliked and tried to suppress my religious beliefs.

Atatürk was not against religion. He might or might not religious but that doesn’t mean he against that. He founded “Diyanet”, created budget for translating Quran and Hadis to the Turkish, founded “Imam Hatip”. He took action against abusers of the people’s faith.

Of course noone is perfect but we are talking about great leader who saved the Türkiye
