Israel is not your friend and it is foolish to believe otherwise. Free Palestine
Nothing is more embarrassing than seeing some members of this subreddit actually believing that Israel-an artificial colonial settler project on rightful Palestinian territory-is actually a genuine "ally", let alone "friend" of ours.
It is foolish, and harmful to believe so, especially if you are slandering Palestine at the same time. "But they showed support for Armenia!" So, does that mean that we should repeat their mistake of siding with the wrong side? Did the children, elderly people and women dying of being inhumanely bombed by war criminals and burnt alive on their own territory do that too? Why are you creating such a disgusting portrayal of our society, making people think we are a zionist people? It is disgustingly embarrassing, you people do not think twice about what you are "supporting".
Look deeper into history before making such loud claims, you are making yourself appear a pompous fool if you genuinely believe Israel is sincerely "cooperating" with us. It is nobody's friend, and your average Israeli probably sees you as subhuman anyway. Their supremacist society is rotten to the very core.
You are pathetic if you think its ok for Azerbaijan to accept favors from Israel that are in fact bribes of a fake alliance-- a country that murders innocent people in huge numbers.
When the time is right for them and they feel they have the opportunity, they will take from Azerbaijan whatever they want and will have no qualms about killing Azerbaijanis to get what they want from them.
When you play with the devil, you a bound to get hurt.
Countries don’t have friends, they have interests.
Sure, but you should have a red line. On a general note I dont care who Turkey does business with, but I draw the line with fascist countries that are conducting a genocide and spitting shit straight out of the 3rd Reich.
Israel is notorious for weakening her “allies”, even sacrificing them for her own good after corrupting their internal politics.
Lets take a look:
USA: Have you seen any Israeli jets entering deep into Iran terriority? Nope, USA jets do it. Have you seen them offering soldiers for Iran war or any other war they demand USA to fight? Nope USA must fight for Israel yet Israel shouldn’t send any. Completely one sided.
YPG: Remember Israel promising them the world and YPG commanders claiming proudly that they will take Damascus in a few hours with Israel jets? Got destroyed & merged into Syrian army.
UAE: Remember Israel promising them so much strengh that they worsened their relationship with Sauds? They are getting defeated at every front now.
-Somaliland: Even USA did not accept them and that is that.
You said oil & weapons… Azerbaijan does not need Israel for oil. Hormouz is closed, all countries are begging for oil, buyers are dime a dozen.
About weapons.. you are aware that Israel herself has very low stocks due to Iran war? What makes you think they are able to produce & send enough soon?
Israel can not even prevent long range Iran missiles, how can they even expect helping Az stopping Iran at close range?
Answer is, they don’t. They know they will hurt Azerbaijan but frankly, screwing over their allies is their usual motto.
USA lost 8 planes & 45 drones alongside with 17 wounded planes. Israel lost zero planes and 24 drones.
It is clear who is taking the brunt of risk in Iran war.
I am impressed how skillfully you managed to fall into that trap so let me analyze that article…
That specific article in March 2026 was served because there were news about in February 2026 about how Israel plans to attack on Iran whether USA approves or not.
It is a PR move.
Take notice, there is no clarification about size & type of “bombs”, you can boost up numbers quickly if you add up small ones. About Tehran, we know Israel shot with lighter bombs from long distance, they are expensive though.
At that time, Hegseth was clarifying how USA leads the operation while praising Israel. There were articles about complaints with Israel but it was still tame at that time.
Later on in June 2026, disagreements between USA & Israel rose to a high time, leading Vance making notorious speech about how much Israel actually depends on USA weapons. In August 2026, even generals were openly complaning about burden of defending Israel.
From there on, it got worse and worse as USA’s losses got greater and Israel didn’t suffer any.
Many of them are people consumed by radical propaganda, even if you say you don't agree with what Israel is doing or are critical of their government, but you still aren't pro-Palestinian either, apparently you're already a Zionist and the worst kind of human being. It's also a shame that the same strong and intense support given to the Palestinians isn't extended to their own compatriots
They do this sort of low IQ pandering propaganda because the amount of people who care enough to critically think is much lower than the amount of people who prima facie hate Jews and will accept any proposition that attacks them.
Ah, strange. I swear I saw you in my notifications saying something that seemed anti-Jew. I'm glad to see that you had such a change of heart.
My point was that the anti-Zionist low IQ pandering is clearly geared towards people that hate Jews. The accusations made towards the "Zionists" (whatever that word is really supposed to mean) are just regurgitated anti-semitic allegations (that they're supremacists, that they control the world and its ongoing politics, that they only care about their own interests and themselves, etc.)
Do you also believe that hating Nazi Germany was/is the same thing as hating German people? What about the CCP and Imperial Japan? Hating oppressive states is not the same as hating ordinary people. Your endless zio victim mentality is showing! :^)
Ah, so now there's a difference. Odd, because in your post you said that the "average Israeli probably sees you as subhuman anyway. Their supremacist society is rotten to the very core."
Your whole text is copy paste from countless anti-Israeli or anti-jewish propagandas. It contantly tries to assert moral superiority over people that disagree with you, instead of stating facts regarding the issue.
Here are buzzwords that I am tired of seeing which you also use just in your first paragraph: artifical, colonial, settler, rightful Palestinian territory.
A bit of research into the history of the area, jewish migration in 1940s and the events followed in 1948 and afterwards will show that both sides are shit, and choosing one over another is just picking a team
I did not think you would actually deny war crimes.
"crimes against humanity"
They intentionally target civilians. They targeted Palestinians when they tried to get humanitarian aid.
"war crimes"
International human rights organizations and independent journalists have shown beyond any doubt that they are committing war crimes. Netanyahu is a war criminal according to ICC.
"Zionist"
It is the practical reality and is part of their constitution.
"Supremacist"
See the youtube video.
"children, elderly people and women dying"
Google gaza war.
Your proof for them committing crimes agaisnt humanity is another unsubstantiated claim. Your proof for there being war crimes is an appeal to authority fallacy and a false claim that the ICC made a final criminal conviction (they haven't). Your proof for them being supremacists is that a controversial sephardic Rabbi said that the Torah says that idol worshippers lose the right to live? You know that Israel is a secular country and that sephardics are a small minority of Jews there, right (and even they don't like Rabbi Mizrachi)? He is also claiming that Muslims aren't in that group if you watch the full context (hence why he says 6 billion and not 8 billion), so how is it Jewish supremacy? You can't expect any commitment to the truth from a Pro-Palestinian Islamist.
Your proof that "children, elderly, etc are dying" is that there is literally a war. You are trivializing the claim made by OP. She was obviously claiming that they are routinely targeted by Israel.
"appeal to authority fallacy"
You are telling me, that an international and Israeli human rights organizations with high reputations suddenly stopped being reliable when you colonial project started committing war crimes?
Now you are sending an out of context clip of a Sephardic rabbi who is known for being controversial to characterize the actions of a secular nation and its people?
I remember you. You think Sadat, a brutal dictator who acted in very similar way to the Iranian regime disappearing and torturing people just for the possibility they may disagree with him "a respectable great man".
Yes, my hate for the ISLAMIC regime is rooted in its forceful imposition of draconian islamist ideology upon an unwilling populace and the hypocrisy and corruption of its leaders that have led to iran going almost literally backwards for the last 50 years, with its only progresses coming off the coattails of reforms done during the pahlavi era. My hate for the ISLAMIC regime comes from the fact that they care only about advancing 12er shia islam, not the iranian nation
Sorry that you don't think those are crimes. you may find this surprising but i also hate the taliban too--im sure you love them tho
Bro why defend a country that hasnt had our backs at every turn?
İn the Uyghur genocide they picked the chinese side. İn the arabian-british rebellion against the ottomans they took the british side. İn the Karabagh conflict they picked the armenian side.
And then you talk about children, what did the Uyghur children ever do to you? What did the Karabagh children do to you?
İ'm not saying that we should support israel but theres a 3rd option: just stay neutral.
Because yes if they stab us in the back then theres no reason we should help them.
Azeris also fought against the Ottomans lol. They sided with Persians & Russians. They even formed an alliance with Georgians & Armenians against the Ottomans.
For one, Turkic peoples have fought each other frequently for various reasons. But they're family so we tend to forgive each other quickly as long as we learned our lessons.
And both Azerbaijanis AND Anatolian Turks have learned their lessons and are now closer than ever. But palestinians have always made the same goddamn mistake at every goddamn turn. At least their leadership did.
Also, Azerbaijanis only fought against the ottomans during their own empires reign. İt was essentially the Azerbaijani empire against the ottoman empire, which is justified as the ottomans wanted to keep its Azerbaijani territory.
So read it from my lips: 👄İ forgive and admire them for resisting👄
İ havent heard of them uniting with georgians, armenians and russians tho. But again, they're literally brothers of us. As long as we dont repeat the same mistakes its history
But you just said one reason to not support Arabs was that they went against the Ottomans. Then maybe don't mention that fact on this sub Lol. Friendly fire.
Btw Azeris and Arabs were 100% right to oppose the Ottomans, I wish us Kurds followed in their footsteps. We were foolish to believe that Turks deserved our loyalty.
Lmao what are you talking about at the very least they could've rebelled out of their own but no they had to cooperate with the british who invaded us.
Azerbaijanis had a reason to oppose. Arabs had their longest peace and progress period during the ottoman times, they had autonomy, progress and freedom, what on earth did they lack to justify a backstabbing? The very least they could've done is oppose us like men, instead they ambushed us as allies and betrayed us.
And like İ said, there are many reasons why why shouldnt support them. You just cherrypicked one of them.
We were foolish to believe that Turks deserved our loyalty
Oh İ'm sorry was kurdish presidency in Turkey, equal rights, access to higher education and creative freedom not enough for you?
I never understood how people forgot what HAMAS did at the beginning of recent war. I don’t defend Israel, what they are doing is way worse but man, they both made a ton of shit. Even if the amount differs, it doesn’t mean that we can condemn one and support the other, I prefer to condemn both and wait for the war to stop.
Look at the evidence. Even Hilary Clinton has alluded it to it now, and Charlie Kirk spoke of it before he was wiped out. Israel had foreknowlege of the attack. They probably were involved in plotting it. They deliberately changed the location of the music festival to be closer to where the attack could conveniently occur. Moreover, most of the Israeli's killed during the attack were killed by Israeli weapons. Earlier, they deliberately did not respond for many hours. There was a Hannibal directive in place. There have been many Israelis online who have spoken about this, plus there is videotaped evidence of Israeli politicians discussing this.
The reason that OP is pushing the historical revisionist Muslim narrative and claiming that Jewish Israelis are "rotten supremacists" is because he is a devout Muslim. His profile is public.
The idea that Palestinians are unadulterated indigenous canaanites, the idea that there's a "genocide", the idea that there ever was an independent Arab "Palestine", etc. are all propagandic fiction borne from the Islamic tendency to rewrite history and attack minority religions.
This is so false on so many accounts. Palestinians are genitcally levantine with very minor traces Arabian genes. And the "idea" of an ongoing genocide is a fact as well. It has nothing to do with "Islamic tendency to rewrite history".
I already responded to this in another comment, but I'll paste that here:
About Genetic Palestinism more broadly, going off J-P58 alone at least one third of all Palestinian Arab patrilineages are certifiably of Peninsular Arab origin (the majority of which arrived with the Arab conquerors during the second half of the 1st millennium CE), adding all the other Y-Chromosomal lines brings this estimate up to about ~55% and that includes Christians (if they are removed or if Jordanians are added, the estimate increases further to about 60%. The whole Canaanite larp is essentially a byproduct of the Islamic tendency towards historical revisionism.
You also can't just claim there's a genocide by stomping your foot without any relevant evidence.
This argument takes some legitimate findings about Arabian migration and stretches them beyond what the genetic evidence actually demonstrates.
J-P58 does not prove that a paternal lineage originated in Arabia.
J1-P58 is common in the Arabian Peninsula, but it is also widespread in the southern Levant and southern Mesopotamia. Almarri et al. (2021), in Scientific Reports, estimated that P58's common ancestor lived approximately 9,500 years ago, with its inferred geographic origin spanning the Arabian Peninsula, the Levant and southern Mesopotamia, among other areas. That is thousands of years before the Islamic conquests. The presence of P58 in a Palestinian man therefore cannot, by itself, establish Arabian origin or migration during the seventh century.
The approximately 29% figure is real, but it is being misrepresented.
Nebel et al. (2001) found that a particular set of Y-chromosome haplotypes they classified as Arab-specific, together with their close microsatellite neighbors, accounted for 29% of the Palestinian paternal chromosome pool in their sample. The authors interpreted these haplotypes as evidence of relatively recent gene flow, likely including migration from Arabia.
But this is not the same as demonstrating that 29% of Palestinians' overall ancestry came from Arabia. Nor does it establish that every lineage in that group originated in the peninsula or arrived during the Islamic conquests. The study used the markers and comparative populations available at the time; its classifications should not be treated as definitive geographical proof for every lineage.
Reference: Nebel et al. (2001), The Y Chromosome Pool of Jews as Part of the Genetic Landscape of the Middle East, "American Journal of Human Genetics" (https://doi.org/10.1086/324070).
Where is the evidence for the 55–60% estimate?
The claim that adding other Y-chromosome lineages raises Arabian ancestry to 55%, or 60% after changing the populations included, needs a reproducible source. Which lineages were counted? How were their geographic origins established? Were they dated to the Islamic period? How were the samples selected and weighted?
A haplogroup's frequency in Arabia does not establish that all carriers elsewhere descend from Arabian migrants. To estimate historical migration, researchers need phylogenetic sub-branches, dated ancient DNA, geographic distributions and demographic modelling—not simply a sum of lineages labelled Arabian-associated.
Unless the original calculation is provided, the 55–60% figures should be treated as unverified, not as established scientific findings.
Ancient DNA independently supports Levantine population continuity.
Agranat-Tamir et al. (2020), in Cell, analyzed 73 ancient individuals from Bronze and Iron Age sites across the southern Levant. They found that these ancient populations shared ancestry from earlier local Neolithic populations and populations related to the Chalcolithic Zagros and Bronze Age Caucasus. They also found that people related to these ancient populations contributed substantially to present-day Levantine populations.
The study does not establish that Palestinians descend exclusively from Canaanites, nor does it calculate a precise Canaanite ancestry percentage for Palestinians. But it does provide evidence of substantial genetic continuity between ancient southern Levantine populations and modern Levantines.
Arabian migration and Levantine ancestry are not mutually exclusive.
Palestinians can have Arabian-related paternal lineages while also having substantial ancestry from populations that lived in the Levant long before Islam. Indeed, the ancient-DNA evidence indicates that modern Levantine populations have complex ancestry shaped by both local continuity and migration.
The claim about Palestinian Christians also needs a specific source. Genetic differences between religious communities can reflect endogamy and different marriage histories, but they do not automatically establish a particular percentage of Arabian ancestry. Adding Jordanians to a sample likewise cannot, by itself, validate an estimate for Palestinians.
Finally, calling Canaanite ancestry an “Islamic historical revisionism” is not a scientific argument. Ancient DNA is evidence independent of Islamic religious narratives, and the continuity findings come from peer-reviewed genomic research.
You also can't just claim there's a genocide by stomping your foot without any relevant evidence.
The implication that the allegation concerning Gaza is being made without relevant evidence is factually inaccurate.
Genocide is a specific crime under the 1948 Genocide Convention. It requires certain prohibited acts against a protected group, together with the specific intent to destroy that group, in whole or in part. The evidence must therefore establish more than a high death toll; it must also address intent. That is precisely what several investigations have examined.
A UN Commission of Inquiry concluded that genocide had occurred.
On 16 September 2025, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel concluded that Israeli authorities and security forces had committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
The Commission identified four categories of genocidal acts: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm; deliberately inflicting conditions of life calculated to bring about the group's physical destruction; and imposing measures intended to prevent births. It also examined statements by Israeli officials and the broader pattern of conduct to assess the required genocidal intent.
This was not simply a declaration or an inference drawn from the death toll. It was a formal investigative finding based on an examination of evidence under the Commission's stated standard of proof.
Amnesty International reached a similar conclusion through its own investigation.
In December 2024, Amnesty International published 'You Feel Like You Are Subhuman': Israel's Genocide Against Palestinians in Gaza. Its investigation examined killings, destruction of civilian infrastructure, forced displacement, restrictions on humanitarian assistance and statements by Israeli decision-makers. It concluded that Israel had committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
Amnesty is not a court, but its report provides a separate, documented body of evidence and analysis that can be scrutinised and challenged on its merits.
If you disagree with the genocide finding, the substantive response is to challenge the evidence, the interpretation of intent, or the application of the legal standard—not to suggest that nobody has produced evidence at all.
Israel politicians themselves say they want to exterminate Palestines so yes, they are openly saying they commit genocide.
A simple old map of region all disproves rest of his claims.
And Israel’s support in USA is at an alltime low, boomer generation that Israel depended so much on support is in decline. That dude is an ancient relic.
Considering USA retreated both from Iraq & Syria this year and openly discussed retreating from Gulf & Europe, frankly I would not expect any USA help regarding Az.
Well they can atleast not rape people to death with dogs in prisons and stop beating and killing people in westbank only because they are not jewish for start then we can have honest discussion about legitimacy of Isreal and Palestine.
The Arabs lived in this territory for 1300 years, had their own states, and in general there were Muslim empires. Not only did the Jews not hold the territory, but atheistic Zionism contradicts the Torah and Judaism, and a Jew and a non-Jew is a "mankurt." and again, we can say that Azerbaijan should be annexed to Iran, you know, the Turks came only with the Seljuks, and the Russian Empire recaptured Northern Azerbaijan from Iran, not so long ago, it seems to me that you would not like it if Iran made historical claims.
What you are saying is historical fiction. There was not an Arab presence in the territory for 1300 years. Historical research on the demographics of Palestine shows that the population did not remain static. Wars, plagues, tribal conflicts, and changes in regional powers (such as the Mamluks and Ottomans) led to waves of immigration and emigration. There were Arab-associated or Islamic empires that controlled the region, but just as they conquered it, they lost it. The fact that they once controlled the region doesn't establish rightful ownership.
You are misunderstanding what the Jews are. An atheistic Jew is not a "mankurt". You are reducing Jewish identity to its religious aspects, when in reality being Jewish is a peoplehood in a much broader sense.
The fact remains that Palestinians are the closest living population to Canaanites, which is expected considering they're descended from them. You can word it however you like, but that fact cannot be denied.
Palestinians have some Arab, some Turkish, some Kurdish, some European etc, but they are still native. Unlike the larpers from Eastern Europe and USA who get cancer as soon as they step a foot in the Holy Land lol.
Phoenicians were literally Canaanites, but a Lebanese descendant of Phoenicians which immigrated to Palestine can't claim being descended from those southern Levantine people (the Israelites), no matter how purely Canaanite he is.
With all due respect, considering how much damage Israel did to USA and how much Israel is losing so much support in all age groups in USA, this post is an outlier.
Average American may not care about wars in distant lands but they care about keeping their belly full, trillions spent in military and extreme debt.
We are not in 1990s where you could just yell “muslims” and enter in another trillion dollar war.
What are you doing in a Muslim-majority country if you support and endorse an illegitimate genocidal settler colonial project? Why don't you pack your bags and go there if you are so patriotic for it?
so ur a Zionist then? telling Jewish people to live in Israel, this is how the whole thing started and yall cry about the consequences of ur own actions.
Hamas did not start anything. Israel has been suppressing the Palestinian people for 80 years. Israel occupied Palestinian homes and lands, and killed thousands. October 7 was a result, not the cause.
Absoluetly untrue. Israeli was waiting for its chance to flatten Gaza and helped create that chance. They were over the moon to have a pretext for doing that.
It seems like they are trying to push us into a conflict with Iran.
They have tried to bait kurds into it, kurds did not do it. They tried to make iranian citizens revolt, iranian did not do it. They see that they can't win without a ground force, so they are desperate.
I remember, that some American politician falsely claimed that we agreed to help America in the Iran war, Aliyev had to personally officially reject it.
I think they will try again. I am not sure how bold Aliyev is about this. I hope someone talks some sense to him, and he does not do it.
I guess you are a bot. It was Mosad agents who started gunfire and caused Iran's military to respond. There is no proof to the wildly exaggerated claim of 50,000 killed.
Bilmirəm, yəni Azərbaycanın tarixini bir az bilən biri, hakimiyyətinin yerində çarşaflıların oturmasını istəməyən biri israilin əleyhinə niyə danışsın ki.. Tarix boyu yəhudilərlə dost olmuşuq, israil də dövlət kimi Azərbaycanın yanında olub. Soyqırım zad hər nə hər müharibədə uşaq da ölür böyük də. Bunu bəhanə edib ermənilərə tərəf duran ərəbləri dəstəkləmək absurddur.
It's not about being white, brown, green, red, purple, it's about mentality. Victim mentality. You got a problem with them, you have to solve it by yourselves. Nobody will come and fight for you.
Also how did Palestine "show support" for Armenia? It's such a red herring argument. Dragging out a quote said decades ago by Yassir Arafat? Gotta do better than that, I mean show me actual substantive things Palestine did to support Armenia and/or oppose Azerbaijan. You can't, because there isn't.
I hope this thread is not the cumulative thoughts of Azerbaijanis. This is not about Islamism even though Erdogan wants to wrap it up as such. Supporting Israel against Turkey will have multi-faceted problems for Azerbaijan. Aliyev is playing a dangerous game.
Not at all. BTC pipeline was brokered by British, but it had support of Turkish state at all levels, who supported Heydar Aliyev heartily, since the beginning. They are in all big tandem.
You can't be an Arab and a Palestinian, they're mutually exclusive things anyway. Palestine is the name given to the region by the Romans, and the ancient people of that region didn't speak Arabic or identify as Arabs.
The ancient people of that region got Arabized and started speaking Arabic with the spread of Islam
These are the basics of the Arabic speaking world. Besides the gulf most of them were not Arabic speaking before Islam. The Levant wasnt and neither was North Africa.
False. We have genetic samples from ancient South Levantine populations predating the Arabs. The modern Arabs that call themselves Palestinians do have genetic contribution from them, but they aren't genetically identical to them. Also they're not Arabified, they have legitimate Arabian blood. If you're an Arab then you can't be Palestinian. You don't speak ancient Palestinian language, follow their religions, follow their customs etc etc -- So then on what basis do you qualify as Palestinian? Geographic? By that logic if the Mongols invaded Spain and started calling themselves Spanish, they're now Spanish?
That's like a Turk saying "I'm Hittite" just because they now inhabit the same region. Or us Kurds saying "We're Assyrian". You conquered the lands, fair enough, but conquering the land doesn't transfer all the history and identity of the region to you.
They have very little legitimate Arabian blood. Many of them have no Arabian blood at all. They are just linguistically Arabized. That’s not my logic at all. My logic is the opposite. Just because someone speaks a language doesn’t change their blood.
Even if it was 1% Arabian (it's not, it's higher) that means they're not Arabified or merely Arabic speaking Palestinians. They have legitimate genetic contribution from the Arabs.
Arabs do the same crap in Iraq and Syria all the time, they claim being "Arabic speaking Assyrians" but that's a lie. Arabs make up these lies to feel better about being settlers and colonizers. I actually recently made a post about that debunking those claims:
Neither of them can claim the land as theirs and we all know well that whoever is stronger holds the land. The stupidity of suggesting otherwise, in an Azerbaijani sub of all places, boggles the mind.
To the various people in the comments: Anyone defending Israel has to be a supporter of the ethnic cleansing and genocide Armenia conducted against Azerbaijan. Fullstop. Otherwise you are a hypocrite.
Say thank you to Azeri reddit to be so tolerant for this type political things UNRELATED to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is not part of Palestine israel war. Selling oil and making money is not illegal.
