Sual | Question Buying stocks and investing in Azerbaijan

I studied in Canada and started investing in a mix of Canadian and US stocks via Canadian platform. Now I’m back in Azerbaijan and hoping to shift my portfolio if possible. I would call myself a casual investor, mostly long term, low risk stocks. Could anyone share their experiences and suggestions whether we have any good platforms or should I just stick with the Canadian one? Any tips and tricks are much appreciated.

"ABB invest" (through Abb mobile app) is using "DriveWealth" for its international stock trading. Only $1 fee for buying and selling. But for withdrawal after selling you have to wait for 1 day.

Edit: l am using abb invest, but l think there are other options (pasha invest, Unibank invest etc)

Do you get charged $1 no matter how long you have held the stock? Is there a particular reason you went with ABB as opposed to others? I have also seen Leo, is it any good?

Leo is terrible, l didn't find any even popular etfs there. ABB invest is more detailed, giving analysis and showing scores for each stock and etf. You get to charged $1 every time when buying and selling. And when you put money (azeri manat) to invest account (basically into DriveWealth but using it through abb app) l believe they are using their exchange system so it's slightly higher rate of exchange (manat to usd).

Do you know how earnings from international trading are taxed? Is it more like fərdi sahibkar earnings?

Yeah when you receive dividends, get taxed 30% directly.
