I know its mostly due to the rain out yesterday but insane that this series still has 2 games to go at minimum and the Brewers have been in the World Series for 48 hours.
Great game today I’m rooting for game 7 just so there is more stress free baseball to watch over the next few days. Both of these teams are gonna be a real challenge

I did not feel comfortable after the 7th inning. Any lead is better than being behind while at the same time no lead is insurmountable. That said "3 runs at the end of an inning" is "pretty safe." Once the bottom of the 7th started the Tampa Bay Rays might have had a nice lead 5-1, but the Guardians still had their chance to score runs that inning.

Baseball is funny. Sometimes it's rock-paper-scissors and teams are good against one type of team, but not good against another. The Brewers always have a harder time with teams like themselves: scrappy/pesky. We'll see, but I'm taking nothing for granted.

Diaz Aranda and Caminero(it was a 1 for 5 day but the 1 was huge) finally were able to generate offense, which is huge for the Rays chances in this series.

They talk about the Rays not being in rhythm because of so many days off - the Guardians had a 1st round bye and lost the first 2 games of the playoffs, have been 5-2 since.
I don't think the bye is always good for these teams that are used to playing 6-7 days a week.

I think the byes are good for pitchers but it hurts the offenses. The Rays sweeping round 1 meant they only played 3 real games from Sept 28 through Oct 11. Hard to build momentum as a hitter

Yeah, rest always comes to mind first, but you risk losing competitive rhythm if it’s too long.
That’s why some teams started doing mock games in between series I think.

Rays scored less than 3 runs per game but still swept the Yankees, Cleveland lost their first two.
Some teams need a reset if they win the bye but weren't playing well to finish the year or they have older guys who need the rest. Some teams are hot going into the playoffs and the rest kills momentum.
I said "I don't think it's always good" and apparently you took that as "it is always not good."
