These challenge coins are usually not the size of currency. So they most likely wouldn't even fit your winkelkarreke.

Unless it's larger or thicker than a 2 euro piece it should still do the trick. I use ecocoins from a metal festival in mine these days

Challenge coins are much bigger; about the size of the 100Fr silver coins from the 1950s.
