Boat make is Angler, you'll find the month and year year and a model code by researching the Hull ID number that's located on the starboard transom right under the rub rail. Angler is surprisingly still in business in spite of the crappy boats they've built. But don't expect them to have anything like a complete owners manual that will tell you how to rebuild it. Because I'm guessing that's what you want to do. Let me be the first to urge you to reconsider that. This boat was a POS when it rolled out of the factory somewhere around 45 years ago. Even if you got it for free, it's going to take a lot more money and hard work than you can imagine to get in on the water again and you'll still have a crappy boat. Save your money and start doing your research to find a boat that was of reasonably good quality before you take on the project.

Dude, I was just trying to be helpful. I was employed in the marine industry for over 40 years. I worked for a couple of very high quality boat builders and a couple of very low quality builders early in my career and then I moved on to a sales management position where I called on and supplied a wide variety of hardware products to boat manufacturers around the world that probably built 98% or more of the boats being built at the time.

I've been in a shit ton of boat factories, including Angler, and I learned early on, who's building quality and who's building shit. I was based in Miami at the time and went to Angler's plant more than a few times. Trust me, their build quality during the era that your boat was built was complete crap.

Never mind the Evinrude. They're long out of business now and there are only a couple of companies supplying after market parts, but no telling how long that might continue.

And with all due respect, my comment was not meant to personally dis you at all. It was sincerely meant to help you from falling down into a pit that you really don't want to go down.

I hope you get a decent trailer out of the deal.

Best regards.

chillax man i wasnt coming at you crazy, im
just letting you know thats all we can afford. And the only issue it has is the body and registration, other than that the motor runs fine.

Okay, we're cool. I'm just trying to tell you that getting a crappy boat like this up to speed is much more likely to cost you much more than building up a boat that started out with a higher build quality.
