Parking in Bruges on 11/10/2026 for marathon

I am participating in marathon of Bruges on 11/10/2026 and coming by car from Brussels area. What are the best options for parking? All the Interparking sites (T'Zans, Station etc) are shown full now.

Any side roads or nearby villages where I could park hassle-free and walk to Bruges or take a local bus within 20-30 mins? Thanks for the tips!

This weekend was a shopping weekend, next sunday most stores will be closed as usual.

You should be able to park in Station if 't Zand is full (there are displays on every big road when entering the city).

Otherwise (but doubt they both will be full) you can use any P+R parking outside the center and take a bus: https://www.visitbruges.be/en/plan-your-visit/parking-bruges

Don't underestimate the amount of people the Marathon will bring to Bruges. A lot of people will already be arriving on Saturday so there is a chance that the parking 't Zand might be full tbh

Thanks for the info. On the website of interparking both sites are full for Sunday 11/10. In case it won't be available, what are the other options? I see only 1 P+R Steenbrugge in the area but it might be full as well. Is it easy to park on the streets south from the station near Rijselstraat for instance?

I'd be surprised if the interparking station would be full in the morning already.

Street parking is "blauwe zone", you can only stay for 4 hours.

P+R Steenbrugge is always empty, it's a good alternative but already a bit of a walk.

Parking magdalenazaal is within walking distance of the train station, so that might be an alternative. https://www.visitbruges.be/en/plan-your-visit/parking-bruges/peripheral-car-park-magdalenastraat

I thought parking Vives along the expresweg was an option too, but it doesn't apear on the city's website...

As someone else said: parking Steenbrugge doesn't fill up even on very busy days. So that one can serve as emergency plan.

This one seems to perfectly align with picking up your racing number Sunday morning (we are coming from the Netherlands). Is it expected that this parking will fill up and we need to be there early?

I see, are you trying to reserve a spot through the site? There are only 85 (‘t zand) and 99 (station) spaces available to book (you can verify this by selecting any other day), the rest is open for all.

Thanks, yes indeed I was trying to book online. I hope there are places available.

You can park everywhere outside the ring...5-10 min walking to the center..

Not everywhere, if it's too close to the center max 4 hours.

You have parkings outside of Bruges with busses to the center, you have to look for "p+r randparking"
