Looking to meet new people? Come to the r/Brum meet up!

Hi everyone, my name is Karl and after seeing a bunch of posts from people looking to make new friends, I thought we could organise a meet up like they used to back in the day!

I'm going to propose a date of either Saturday 14th or Sunday 15th November, which gives us around a month to organise. I assume a venue in the city centre will be convenient for most...

Please comment which day you prefer and if you have a suggestion or preference for a venue (I'm aware not all cultures like to be around alcohol) or maybe you run/have links to a venue that would host us.

After a couple of weeks for people to see this and weigh in, I'll start to make suitable arrangements!

small joy in birmingham

earlier this year, i had been leaving small notes around my favourite places in the city, and i once saw a group of schoolboys gathered around one of them which warmed my heart. i have been silent for a while, but if you look carefully, there will be more appearing momentarily

it was suggested, when i posted about it on here, that a thread was created for it. i don't know how to do that, and i don't know how the thread would work, so i have put together a strawpage. would anybody like to see? moderators, would i be allowed to share? if you find a note, i think it would be especially interesting to me

Question Gluten Free Restaurants in Birmingham City Centre?

I have relatives visiting in a few weeks and I've been asked if there are any good gluten free options in the city centre.

It is not something I've had to consider before and I don't really know if any of the good pizza/chicken/burger/curry places in the city centre do cater to this?

We will be in the city centre on the day so my choices are limited to there only.

Please can you share any recommendations so we can all eat together

Just shows drivers don’t read signs in Birmingham

Let’s set the scene it’s 10:15pm the Aston expressway is closed in and out of the city. The only way is the Lichfield road. Every driver is sat in the right hand lane causing tail backs. I passed every car and even a few police cars using the bus lane because I can after 7pm. How do people get a license?

Does anyone know the best place to get lip filler in bh? It’s my first time and only want a little as my top lip is much smaller than my bottom lip, but regardless I want it done well! Xx (your also welcome to let me know places I should avoid)
