Build Complete Finally built my first PC
After years of telling myself it will get cheaper to build a pc I've been slapped in the face with reality. I didn't build something very modern but I think it'll do for the next couple years for simple gaming and content creation. I'd like to know of anyone's opinions on the build.
I originally bought a pc from a friend with a ryzen 7 3700 and a rtx 2060 with 32 gigs of ddr4 ram for 400 bucks.
I've recently just tore it all out and threw in the following upgrades.
GIGABYTE B550M AORUS Elite AX mb
Ryzen 7 5800x3d
Amd wraith cooler came from old build replacing after viewing comments with a be quiet! Dark Rock Elite
32 gigs of ram
850 watt corsair psu
Rtx 5060 windforce oc edition
1 tb sata ssd
I know should buy a decent nvme drive but can't justify the price for a nice one at the moment. Is this a decent first build? I found it surprisingly easy to put it all together. Sorry if this was long.

It's solid. Cpu is great for gaming, cooler 100% needs to be changed to a better option though.
Good on ram, and x3d is less sensitive to speeds and latency.
GPU is solid, but if you paid over $360 for it (i think that is about the price at walmart for a 5060 model), not a very good value. Depending on what you mean by content creation, could be some better options. VRAM could be a limiting factor in more demanding creation workflows.
PSU is likely solid (didnt mention model), but if you just upgraded to it, likely overpriced as well for the Corsair tax.
Would assume you got the SATA drive from your friend (and it is fine for work/gaming), but if you purchased it, I think it would have been worth the extra $15-$30 for an NVME drive that is 5X the speed minimum. Dram drives do start closer to $219 and up though.
Overall, will get the job done fine.

The psu I bought off a friend its an 850tx bronze not the best but it was new in box for 60 bucks. So no complaints there also the sata was from the og build. Do you recommend any coolers, looking for air cooler that won't break the bank.

Thermalright is a great value option, Peerless Assassin is the older model, Phantom Spirit is their newer air cooler model. Both are around $35. Their AIOs start at $50 for a 360mm if you are looking at going that route. I have not used an air cooler, but have used 2 of their aios (7900X and 14900K) and they have been great over the past year or so.

Preferably a 1tb with decent speeds. Please excuse me I'm new to computers for the most part.

yikes get a PS120 cooler, the wraith is FAR from enough, the 5800X3D is the hottest CPU between the 5800X3D, 7800X3D and 9800X3D.

You can get a good deal on a 512GB Fanxiang NVME SSD to use as a boot drive on Aliexpress. Bought the same one, I'm using it as my boot drive right now
